    More and more devices require AAA batteries (over AA) now, and with a newborn niece, I discovered that most toys are using AAA as well (probably due to their compact size). Hence it was a no-brainer to pickup one of these as I didn't want some no-name batteries corroding the toy and becoming a toxic liability.

    Newer battery operated devices are using AAA batteries instead of AA. Wireless phones are also going to AAA rechargeable batteries. Am stocking up on some AAAs with this purchase for TV remotes, 2-way radios, etc..

    Good choice to use as a filler to reach level required to use Bestbuy Reward certificates. With tonnes of devices using batteries, I am yet to encounter a scenario of not needing more batteries.
