    When it gets to primary (non-rechargeable) batteries, Energizer beats'em all. Too bad they don't make lithium primary D-cells yet.

    last hurricane we lost power and it was way too hot to sleep. Bought these batteries to power a fan luckily we didn't need them but they're energizer im sure they're amazing

    I'd rather use rechargeables, but with only one flashlight that still uses Ds, it's hard to justify the expense of a D-size charger. These get the job done.
