I have flashlights and lanterns that need D size. Energizer is a great product and the sale price was too good to pass up. I never want to worry about no light during a power outage. These are for ease of mind knowing I have them in the house or car. And I always buy batteries for Christmas presents for my kids and family and they are very much appreciated when the emergency arises.

Surprised that some items still use batteries in a rechargeable world. Batteries work great and has provided long service.

[Employee of bestbuy] Used these in my new insignia trash can with the automatic lid and they have been very long lasting. Trash can gets used multiple times throughout the day and they have not shown any signs if needing to be replaced for over a month

I always use Energizer Max D batteries for my flashlight. They are stronger and last longer than any other brand. Great bargain for the price.

I ordered these much needed batteries a couple days before Hurricane Irma. I couldn't find any D batteries in any of the stores as everyone bought up all the supplies to ready themselves for the hurricane. The batteries were listed on the Deal of the Day. Not only did I get them on sale, but I was able to purchase online and receive them in a just two days. The batteries came in handy as I lost power for three days. This purchase was a life saver!
