They charged the first few times and now I have 4 that will not charge it. The charger just beeps. Not sure why

Seem to hold a charge for quite a while

The regular charger takes a long time to charge batteries.

High mAh

Weak Batteries

It lasts close to 6 months on 2 regular AA batteries. The life was initially about 2 weeks in two rechargeables. After less than a year, the batteries will only power the keyboard for about 2 days.

The flow of in and out at the house is very low since it is only 3 people at the house. The non rechargeable energizer batteries last longer than this ones.
