Energizer has always been my brand of batteries to use and these are what I use in all my devices that require it. A full charge lasts about 20 hours in my xbox one controller. Make sure you have at least 2 or 4 extra batteries than what come in the pack because I guess it is required to have all 4 batteries in the charger for it to charge them. That way you can keep playing while the others charge.

They are indeed charged according to the devices I put them in but it would be nice if the charger would also indicate that like it's suppose to do. It wasn't worth the trouble to bring back and exchange.

light remains on red

If you see a green light, it is fully charged and if you see a blinking red light, there is a problem. My unit I purchase has the red light always on. The batteries a fully charge (I think). I am using them. I am living with this malfunction. I just know to make sure it has a full 24-48 hours to charge.
