Rechargeable batteries but they are not Lithium Ion batteries. So their half life is pretty much a year, maybe two. So if you are going to use these for small devices like a controller, then you have about a year. But worth buying if you need something in this nature.

Who ever designed this has not learned from the earlier models. When you set the batteries back into the charger you have to remove it from the wall so the cradle does not rock out of the wall plug. There is a gap between the battery area and cradle, so if you are like me and just want to put them back in without having to remove the cradle it becomes frustrating.

I didn't notice until I got home that these batteries are NiCad. I was looking to buy lithium batteries which are better for photography. But these work fine. I just have to remember to not remove them from the charger until they are fully charged.

With all the electronics I own, I'm glad I decided to purchase rechargeable batteries, and the charger. Wish I would have done this long ago and saved myself a lot of money.

Energizer Pro CHRPROWB4 AA/AAA battery charger is awesome. We use it everyday for batteries that we keep on all night long in a small lantern. I like the green light that tells you when they are fully charged.

I purchased these batteries to replace the ones that came with my alarm system since I wanted a longer battery backup time. They doubled the amount of time it had power and were well worth the price.

These are so nice compared with having to purchase new batteries and then polluting the environment when they are thrown out. The recharged batteries work great.

Use these in my Oculus Quest controllers, always have 2 ready to go when the other 2 are ready for recharge. Much better then constantly throwing batteries away for new ones.

This was specifically bought so the batteries in my sons Xbox controllers can always be charged, by always having some on standby, charging. My son is happy with it so I’m happy with it.

I used to go through pack after pack of batteries, this charger works fast and gives you a good reliable mark of charge, some times I have to pull them only half charged just to get through a job and the batteries work well regardless.

Charges fast and the color notifiers are great for checking charging status.

I wanted another charger, best buy only had this as their best. Working good so far, has indicator lights, said some other cheap recharables I had were bad with the light indicator. Charger great, batteries included, only time will tell.

Quickly charges batteries and doesnt ever get jammed like cheap ones

I bought this for my 6 year old leapfrog tablet that takes 4 double A batteries. I got tired spending money on batteries, now that I have rechargeable batteries. My son can enjoy his tablet everyday now. No more waiting to go to the store

Previously was using a Duracell charger that was right around the same price. It worked for about six months then just stopped working. No matter what battery you'd put in, it would give the dead battery light. I bought a brand new set of rechargables, same problem. This one on the other hand, has both audible cues to battery condition and state of charge. Hooked up a volt/ohm out of curisosity and it truly is intelligent with the rate of charge. Slows down noticeably for the last 20 percent or so and will cut all power when the battery is topped up. The duracell charger never did this and it would only be a matter of time until it blew up a battery.
