Go Rechargeable!

INMO, 1.3 volts charges works best on flashlights and small LED devices. For remote controls it's better to use alkaline cells at 1.5 volts.

Rechargeable Batteries

I have only had one issue where batteries over heated and that was because I definitely was rapid firing my flash unit. This is now the only battery I use after trying many different brands of rechargeables!
