I bought these to use in my son's toys and they come in very handy. They last a long time and I always have a back up pair charged and ready to go.

Yea they're batteries. I like to use rechargeable on some items that I use a lot. Keep one set in the charger ready to go while I using the other set. Over the long term saves me a bunch of $$$.
