They are now advertising them as good for up to 500 recharges, which is more realistic that the 1000 they used to claim when the NiMH chemistry was first released to the public, but probably still a little generous. But who's counting?

But these charge in an hour or two. I have 16 batteries for my 4 Xbox controllers, and when one controller gets low I just swap out all 8 batteries and charge them. Works great, controllers are never an issue.

The description in the Overview said they were 800 mAh capacity, but the ones I received were labeled 2300 mAh!
