    I've been using rechargeable batteries for about 10 years. Most have been energizer. They work great but I've yet to find a brand that doesn't eventually run out of power-they all fade with time. Much less waste than alkaline, can get many charges with one nickle metal-hydride battery but they only last about 2-3 years. I use all of mine moderately and all need to be replaced at some point.

    Always stock up on batteries at Christmas. I think Energizer batteries last longer than the generic ones.
