I invested in an energizer battery charger for rechargeable batteries a few years ago and it is totally worth it to not have to keep purchasing new batteries all of the time.

Over the past year, I've attempted to use these in a few items (including a remote controller and a soap dispenser). In most cases, despite being "fully charged", the batteries failed to provide enough power.
