One charge lasts pretty long and you can recharge them for a few years in our experience, and even then we use them in a couple of LED "candles" that run on almost nothing.

My phones finally work again!

Two of them eventually died and I thought I would have to replace the whole system because I couldn't find the right batteries to replace the dead ones. These work beautifully, and we finally have working phones throughout the house once again!

Have now AA,AAA D and 9 volt rechargeable batteries and use the 9v batteries in 2 smoke detectors in the home.

I am the only person using the system. I have used the rechargeable energizer batteries and found then to be as good as DURACELL when you compare dollars and long term use.
