Swollen Battery

Last year in the summer I noticed that the battery got really hot and swelled up. I haven’t used it since then. Seems like a scary hazard to have around. I have multiple battery chargers and it’s the first time I’ve had this issue. I started reading the reviews on here and it seems at least one other person has had this problem. I treated the battery the same way the others, charged until fully charged and use it for my hiking trips. I had this one plugged for a little under 30 minutes when I saw it was swollen. Not impressed

Best Buy was out of stock so they had to order it. That was on January 7th. It was supposed to arrive by the 11th. Today is January 19th and it hasn't even shipped yet when I check tracking. UPS says the label has been created but they have not received the item. Best buy has not updated me at all. So this rating is a combo of Best buy and the Energizer battery.

Is my charger defective??

Bad Buy
