This is one area where a lot of people cheap out and don't realize that, if you buy a cheap, low quality battery, over time it may be susceptible to leaking or even exploding! I own a pair of night vision goggles (over $12k) and I can tell you after the horror stories from having left cheap batteries in them and ruining them, I told myself I'd only use quality, Made in USA batteries, for all electronics.
