I use these long-lasting batteries for my outdoor temperature and humidity sensor which I can then see on the indoor monitor. The batteries last a long time, so don't have to worry about changing them often in an awkwardly placed item outdoors.

The Energizer AA 4-pack states that the batteries last 10 years - I've used these batteries before with very solid results. Mainly they get used in remote controls and calculators that do not use much power.

Great batteries last a decent amount of time but the main takeaway is that you can put them in something low power you wil forget about and they will never leak.
