Yes they are batteries and they work well I don’t know what else to say extra money is worth the buy!

This batteries were exactly the right size! Superior measurements whether you need them side by side, or stacked on top of each other, or both side by side and stacked, these will do the trick! Don't go for the more expensive D batteries, they are way too big. AA for the win!
