Have had for several weeks now and it has a “clean” button that notifies you when it needs to be cleaned. I keep expecting it to come on any day and it hasn’t yet. I opened it up and there’s not as much dust inside as I would expect since I have carpet. I’m just not sure if it’s working. I wish I would’ve taken before/after pics of the dust that collects on the furniture after a week or so WITH and without the use of this.

I haven’t really noticed it cleaning the air! Still the same amount of dust in the house

We've had this now for close to 6 months and hardly gets anything out of the air, going to try and return it today

Was not as much put out of a fan as i thought. we bought it to get rid of cigarette smoke smell in the room. didn't really help

I was disappointed with this product because it did not appear to make any difference in the air quality in our room.

This was the second Ionic I had purchased. The first one lasted for several years so when it failed, I purchased this one. The new one seemed to be of lesser quality and failed after two weeks.

4 months later and it's making a constant noise. No matter what I do it will not stop

I have owned the Ionic Pro Turbo for about 2 months now and absolutely love it. It is almost totally silent. I orded an extra set of collection blades becuase I clean mine every 4-5 days. It is amazing how much dust and grim it collects in only a few days. I use it in my bedroom. Yes it does emit some ozone during operation but it is so small it is not harmful. Even HEPA air purifers emit some ozone. With the Oxygen Plus filter it converts most ozone back to (02) Oxygen which is a huge benefit over other air purifers. We decided we needed another air purifer in the 2nd bed room and decided to try a HEPA purifer which cost about $200.00. After taking the HEPA-type air purifer home and listening to the fan running we took it back and got another Ionic Pro Turbo. You can't go wrong with the Ionic Pro Turbo. Just know that if you decided to buy one that you have to clean it at least once a week in order for it to work efficiently, which is a small price to pay to have a silent air purifer. It is great for a room air purifer but I think the 500 sq ft it says it will cover is to much, a bedroom or living room about 14 x 17 is about the maxium it can handle. So if you buy this with reasonably expectations I think you will be glad you did.

Started out good. Now crackles all the dam time. Clean it out and even took it outside and used a air duster to blown anything out of it, still crackles. VERY annoying, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

Unit worked first time I used it. Second time loud noise from inside, defective. Cannot return to store due to 15 day window.

Had it for 5 months, went into clean mode. I cleaned it and watched multiple videos. It will not get out of clean mode. Waste of 200$. I recommend the crane air purifiers.

In a nutshell........I think this is a good alternative to HEPA air purifers. It is quiet, does a pretty good job, reasonably priced. Everyone who comes into my condo says it smells fresh which makes me happy. I do recommend buying an extra set of collection blades so you can keep it running while the dirty ones dry (you have to make sure they are 100% dry before putting them back in, otherwise will damage unit) Most people either love this product or dislike it. Personally, I think it is great. (They make great gifts as well, thinking of buying a couple for Christmas presents this year) Make sure you read the owner's manaul and watch The instructional DVD that it comes with, follow the directions and enjoy fresh air.

I owned an Ionic Pro Turbo Air Purifier for about 8 years, yes, the same one for 8 years. I bought it when my son was in the 5th grade and his allergies were getting the best of him (along with his faithful dog that followed him everywhere in the house). I'd bought it at our local Wal Mart at the time as I was desperate to try anything that could assist the pills and sprays my son had to take. It has proven to be every bit worth what I paid for and wouldn't trade it for any other purifier out there. I have used it throughout the whole house in those 8 years and it has performed awesomely for us. I have used it during all the viruses and bacterias my kids have gotten, putting it in there rooms to keep them from spreading their germies, moving it to the TV room when they were tired of being in the bed. I've had it in mine when I had the flu (my husband didn't even get the flu from me and he wouldn't get the flu shot) or other viruses, I or my husband had. It has been a lifesaver in MANY ways!! After cooking fish and shrimp, or for other unwanted odors too, I would move it to the area and it would start doing it's job. I didn't have to clean it as often either, but probably should have. The smell it gives after it cleans , which was not that bad, I felt it just gave the area an extra clean smell, it didn't bother me. Needless to say that it broke after it was dropped different times, which at that time, I went back to Wal Mart to buy another but I guess they don't carry them any more. I am certainly going to buy me another, now that I see they are reasonably priced. I recently (last week) bought a Holmes Air Purifier/Ionizer with a Hepa filter from a resale shop, which stated was new and I eagerly came home to try out my bargain-----No, no and no, I don't think any other will come close. It just blew air (loudly) and the hairspray smell I was trying to get rid of was still there in the SMALL bathroom! The quietness of the Ionic Pro Turbo has spoiled me, you can't even tell it's on and I did like the blue light, it would serve as a night light for my son, although I would cover it when it came in my room.After reading all the reviews I couldn't help but to share what a great product this is. It's light weight too, so you can take it with you when you travel. If you are considering buying one, I say go for it. If you treat it right it will perform great and I am proof that they do last a long time.
