First, this machine is great at removing particulate matter from the air. No more dust, cat hair or dog fur floating around my bedroom! This also means I am sleeping so much better - always a plus. I don't wake up feeling Then there is the odor issue; I don't smell cat or dog anymore, and even normal cooking odors are a thing of the past. I've cleaned the 'filter' once in the last month, and yuck, the amount of stuff this machine has removed from the air is scary! The mild 'ozone odor' is only really noticeable on the highest setting, and after a day or two - you don't really smell it anymore. If you have a lot of electronic devices that constantly getting gooped up with dust and hair - this is just what you need. I also bought the compact model for my room-mate and she has nothing but praise for it.

We have had one TA500 for 2 or 3 years and another brand for the same length of time. The two really cannot be compared. The TA500 really performs well. This is the reason we purchased another one. When we clean the filter (we are alerted when it needs cleaning), we see what could be in our respiratory system. We can see and tell that the air purifier really works.

I have had it for one day and i instantly recognized the dramatic change. I am allergic to cats and I have one, I would always have to take claritin or any other allergy medicine but with this ionic pro turbo, i noticed within the same day i wasnt struggling to breath, i wasnt sneasing or having allergic reactions. This is the first time my cat has hung out with me the whole day and not one sneeze out of me. Its also quite and out of the way and i am going to buy the second one for my bedroom.

I have pets: 1 dog and 2 cats. Pet dander was a concern. I have company that smokes cigars and cigarettes. My pets, company, and I needed good breathing air. After doing all the research possible, I purchased the ionic turbo. I have no buyers remorse. This unit simplys works great. The only thing you really need to know before purchasing this unit is: 1. there is general maintenance required. You do have to clean the blades biweekly if you run it on "high." It's very easy. Maybe 10 minutes. A freind of mine did not completely dry it before reinstalling the blades. He plugged it, short circuiting the unit. He had to send the unit back. Big pain. 2. There is an ozone smell. How much ozone is converted to pure oxygen is uncertain, but sure sounds good to me. If you do not think you can get used to this smell, then reconsider. I have heard of a few people that actually get headaches or nauseous to the electronic wiff of ozone. I got used to it within a couple of days. Now it's fine and just confirms that it working as it should. I'm going to accumulate enough points and buy one for the master bedroom, too. May be one for the basement!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PRODUCT.....have had this product for several years. it always surprised me how much of the nicotine it captures. so easy to clean. I put some rubbing alchol on a paper towel and clean the blades once a week. works like a dream

Since I got this my son has slept much better. His sinuses usually act up this time of year, but now he sleeps sound. For that alone it is worth is. I thought it would remove alot of dust from the air and it does but my electronic components still attract alot of dust but I guess I'll have to live with that. Walking into the room, the air smells much cleaner which is nice. Overall, very satisfied.

The Ionic Pro Turbo seems to work well at removing dust and whatever that dirt looking stuff is that you wipe off. I clean my collection blades every Friday and there is quiet a bit of dust it collects weekly. I think the claims of what this product actually does is greatly exaggerated. For example it says that it converts smog and ozone into pure oxygen. If this was so eaisly done then why are all cars not required to have these type of filters? In the back of the owner's manual it also says that it omits ozone during operation? Also claims to capture and destroy cold germs, viruses, bacteria. If this product worked that well it would be considered a miracle product and everyone would be buying them!! All in all I like it because it does collect dust and dirt from the air because I see it when i clean the blades every week. How effective it actually is I do not know, but I like the gentle breeze it creates on the night stand by my bed. One more note -- the owner's manual does not tell you this but when you turn it on it operates continulously for about 1 hour then it cycles on and off, the frequency depends on high, medium, or low.

Like most the reviews, it does need cleaning often, but I notice that if I clean not only the blades but wipe down the inside string in the back with a damp cloth and the other parts, I don't have to clean it as often. It does make a noticeable difference in our house when it is running, I picked mine up for 100$ which helps with the value for price for me. Performance is awesome, everything else I rated good, although I haven't had another purifier to compare it to. IF I were to but another, I would probably stick with the ionic pro turbo since I know it does the job.

This product is terrific. My wife and I can’t say enough good things about it. We have had it for just over a month, and cleaned the filters for the 1st time this weekend. We were a bit surprised to see how much it pulled out of the air, and we keep our house very clean. We haven’t noticed the “ozone smell” people have mentioned, the house just smells…clean. We have a big dog (125 pound rottweiler) and before we got this product, from time to time we noticed a “dog smell” in the house. Now that we have been running this, the “dog smells” are a thing of the past. Another great thing about it, is how quiet it is. Even on the highest setting. If you couldn’t feel the air movement around it, you wouldn’t even know it’s on.

I bought two of these for my living room and dining rooms. They are each big rooms and make a huge difference in the air i breathe. The indoor air is worse than the outdoor air a lot of times. Now when I walk in the house, it's clean and feels so good. I have cats too and it helps with thier dandur and stuff. Easy to clean and I got one for free since I saved up points on my best buy rewards credit card.

Our beloved Ionic Breeze died last spring after more than 20 years of well maintained service. This Envion-Ionic Pro is the perfect replacement upgrade and puts out less ozone too. Same features, charged metal plates collect the dust and remove odors from the air. Whisper quiet operation, no fan. Wipe collection plates off with a soft damp cloth to clean. Works very well. Pleased.

this product works great ive ad it in my bedroom for about 6 months now and it works amazing. it picks so much dust from the air, and my only complaint is that it works too well so i got to clean it alot.. it had helped my sinus and allergy problems alot over the past 6 months its simply an amazing product...

Ionic Pro Turbo air purifier cleans the air and it is silent. What more could you ask for in an air cleaner.

Air is cleaner, cleaning is easy, doesn't cost much. I think everyone should own one if they are approved by thier doctor.

Great product...I've had no sinus issues,colds,etc.since buying this product for the first time in years.An added benefit is that somehow the air smells like fresh linen after being processed...well worth the money.

This product claims to turn smog and ozone into clean air but it actually EMITS ozone making it bad for asthma sufferers. Allergy sufferers may see relief but even small amounts of ozone will aggravate asthma. We purchased it thinking that it was different than the others since it claimed to convert ozone into clean air but the owners manual says differently towards the back. Asthma sufferers, look for air purifiers that are approved by the American Lung Association. There are better alternatives.

This product may work exactly as described. However, it was not obvious until reading the manual that the device emits "low" levels of ozone. Small animals may not react well to low levels of ozone. It does indeed emit a smell of ozone and is quiet. It simply wasn't the solution for our family pets.

Just got this home about 2 hours ago. I bought this because I couldn't deal with the smoke smells drifting into my apartment through the walls anymore. After just a little while the air quality in my apartment has vastly improved. I think this is worth the money if you live in an area with air pollution no matter what the source is.

It's a great air filter! I highly recommend it. It's a great value for the price. I have to clean it a lot, but that may be just because I have pets.

Awesome, Amazing, can't live without and we have three. No filters to buy. Instantly and quietly starts working and within 5 seconds i seriously started to smell fresh air so we bought two more for the house. We have three large and hairy dogs and no one can smell them when they come in.
