Not so great machine!

After it starts, though, it is very slow and unstable. I had much greater speed with my old HP desktop with a Pentium chip and 3 GB of ram! This machine freezes and crashes way too often!

I have seen a lot of video output problems with HP Pavilion pcs, a common problem with video chip on the motherboard.

They should have told me. I had to make another trip to Best Buy to buy a monitor. If I had known, I probably would have bought an All-In-One.

I Trust their Advice and Service

I needed quickly to replace my old dinosaur of a computer. Back to Best Buy...my reliable GoTo retailer for electronics. I hit the store running at the height of Holiday Season Shopping. While I waited for the Sales Rep to complete his sale with another customer, I perused the desktops. When my turn came, I went over my needs and wants with the Rep. He reviewed what was available in light of my wish list and budget. A couple hours later, start to finish, I left the store with my computer...my monitor was temporarily sold out, but became available a few days later. Geek Squad came to my house to install my computer after I had my satellite service set up. I was up and running for the holiday. For sudden shopping at the height of holiday craziness, I was pleased. I've been happy with Best Buy service across the years. That hasn't changed. P.S. Added bonus: the cats love playing in the computer box.
