The ear cushioning do get dirty over time, but you can swap it out for a 3rd party one. The overall weight might feel a bit heavy during long wearing sessions, but not a big issue if you take it off every hour.

One did fail and had to exchange for a different brand. But one is still working great. Convient not to have to change out batteries. Does drain controller batteries a little faster. But still reccomend this for sure.
