This worked perfect for what my family used it for during family movie night. Was easy to set up.

I only have used it for one presentation but so far it appears to be a solid piece of equipment.

    Great concept...but major flaws

Pretty well made product and love the concept of being portable...however some major design flaws keep it from being great. 1. In all the pictures the top center of the screen looks flat and clean but in reality at the center top of the screen you see the top of a black support bracket just above the center of the screen. None of the pictures online show this. I can possibly get used to this over time however the online pictures are misleading. On to issue #2 2. The top of the screen again is the Achilles Heel of this product. In addition to issue #1, the top center of the screen does not stay flat when it is extended for viewing, it curls backward. There is nothing to support the screen from behind so when you extend the side rails to the width you want you will see the top of the screen curl backwards. Absolutely unacceptable for me as it just looks bad and you can't get the picture level with the top of the screen. I thought it was just a bad unit so I returned it and got another and had the exact same problem. Other than those two issues it's a good unit. Those issues are showstoppers for me so I am looking for another option. These may not be issues for all people.

    Weird, inflexible design

Cannot speak to the projection quality of the screen because we returned it without using it. The stand forces the screen to sit nearly 2 feet from the wall, in other words, well into the room. The height is fixed — you cannot raise or lower it. If mounted on the wall, it does not retract - it only slides in from the sides. We don't have a dedicated space for this and it seems like a really quirky, limited use design. It does not easily hang from the ceiling. Overall, very poor design and also heavy, about 24 pounds. We are returning it.

    Screeen rolls

If you want to us the entire screen look else where. Look at most of the customer picture and you can see the top mostly some times the bottom roll and sag. I returned the screen for this. I bought an 80 inch screen and it's not all usable do to this defect. Best Buy Nampa, Id. didn't have any other portable screens in stock. 13 days was the time from picking it up to return. They charge me a restocking fee for a defective item. It's 200 mile round trip. From now on I'll use Best Buy to check out items I might purchase but will be ordered from Amazon. Don't have to drive 200 miles if it needs to be returned and won't have a restocking fee. They should have given me a discount code for selling me a defective product and making me spend $50 in gas to return it. I also spent $1700 on a projector that I keep. This isn't about the money ($19.50 restocking fee) it's about the principle.

Issues With Height and Screen Flatness

The screen height is fixed with limited adjustment beyond a few inches by adjusting the position of the leg braces. At its maximum, the bottom of the screen cannot be raised beyond 33" without putting the stand on a table at least 34" deep to safely support the front-to-back leg span. This screen might be OK for a modest home theater setup but the lack of built-in height adjustment makes it a poor choice for business presentations (ignore the product marketing image of the bar graph), or for any kind of seated audience beyond the first row. Also, the screen is not flat across it's entire dimension when deployed, making it harder to get the entire screen into focus. Portability, setup and breakdown are relatively easy, with the screen retracting into the two sides of the clam shell, and the removable stand reverses and locks into a holder in the back of the clam shell. The compact size when collapsed and the built-in carrying strap makes it easy to transport. That said, I would not buy this screen again, and would choose one that offered greater height adjustment, even if that came at the expense of easier portability. Also 80" may seem large but I found myself frequently wishing I had purchased a 100" or 120" screen.

This screen is terrific. It folds up into itself and protects the screen. Easy to carry and not bulky at all. Buy one for yourself!

Intended for presentation, NOT home theater set up

This is not suitable for your dream home theater project. This is for those who do seminars, class room training, etc. It's intended for quick and easy set up, easy put away and easy mobility, though it's really heavy to carry. When open the screen top and bottom edge at the center curls in not giving you a fully flat surface, like how a rubber band gets thinner when stretched. The product picture is misleading. The screen is firm, but not flat. Also, the tripod set up is NOT rotational, so it leaves a huge open space between the back of the screen and the wall. The screen frame has back mounting holes, but that's too much trouble for a screen that's not flat. Besides, the frame is really heavy. I would not trust a wall mount with how heavy this thing is.
