It was like night and day. I made the mistake of buying a cheap no name brand on Amazon. It was horrible. I bought if for a new staff training. We couldn't see anything. It was so dark and the colors were horrible and the sides of the projection were out of focus. So in the middle of training, I ran (literally) into the BestBuy and bought this Epson. The best investment I ever made in office equipment. It is a keeper. The colors were perfect, the lighting adjustments and focus were sharp. I was embarrassed that I had bought that other device in an effort to save $100 and in the end I paid more because the quality of the training was compromised and disrupted, and I lost a lot of time. But I learned my lesson and will only recommend Epson. They make great projectors, full stop.

Great projector. We use it every week and it has a clear projection to a white wall. We are very happy with it!

Takes about 30-60 seconds to really brighten up, but does a great job as a fairly portable work projector. Good color and clarity.

Don't ignore 720p. This product is powerful. It's really bright and offers a big screen even at short distances. All you need is a Chromecast or Apple TV! Buy while on sale!!!

Great resolution. Quality is just what I needed. I use this for training videos in the business in our conference room. I also use this at home to have movie nights outside.

Bought this for s conference and it worked great. Easy start up and adjustable to tackle unbalanced surfaces. The only draw back was the stand is not useful.

This is my fourth Epson projector. I trust the brand and I use the machine for work and for streaming video content in a variety of settings. I run the unit 2000+ hrs/yr and I expect this to last ~4-5 years at that pace as have its predecessors. As one might expect, picture quality is exceptional now. Even golf in HD is brilliantly precise. Be aware: the reduction in user interfaces for varying the image means this unit must be closer to the screen than prior versions.

My second epson in 10 years, Nice projector, clear imagen, really good definition and color. 100% recommended.

You can play slide shows directly using an attached USB storage. Great for the price

we bought this for one of my daughter's birthday parties. Had no idea how cool it was and have used it much more than originally thought. It connects ONLINE so you can watch NETFLIX or whatever on it. That didn't dawn on me until after we had it. It's fun to just throw it on a table and cast on a wall anywhere in the house. I wish the built in speaker was better and louder but you can hook it up to an external system if you need more.

I've had a couple of Epson projectors in the past and really like the interface compared to other brands. Quiet mode isn't far off from bright mode in terms of brightness but a big difference in noice level. "It's quiet." The resolution is 800p but the text in view is clear and legible. Overall, a very good projector at a budget.

NEEDED A NEW ONE. SALE PERSON EXPLAIN THE FEATURES AND SO FAR IT HAS BEEN EXCELLENT. CANNOT COMPLAINT.

Bought for my son, along with the projector screen. The quality of the sound and picture are really impressive. I'd 100% recommend this product.
