If you are looking for a projector only focused on image projection then this product is for you. However if you wish to have more functionality I would recommend going with the upgraded model. It is easy to tell this is the lower end model as it lacks a lot of features and does not include WiFi adapter for wireless connection. Pros: Includes both HDMI and USB cable Bright High Contrast Color Auto Focus / Lense Protector Easily Menu Navigation Easy Button / Controller Navigation Energy Save System Includes a nice carrying case Cons: Software Epson Projector Management Utility v5.10 Not Included CD only contains manuals No Audio Cable Included Wireless LAN module is not included with the EX3260 Cost of Bulb Replacement Software: The software CD is pretty much a waste and is Epson's way to push you to register the device. Once you insert the CD it prompt to install software however is very misleading. It only installs a manual then pulls up a register online with a 10% off promotion. After completion it then provides a link to their website to install the actual software. I would recommend to save you the time, do not use the CD and go directly to their site to install the software. The software itself is very basic, it provides more of a monitoring option and shows what is being displayed. I found myself just using the Windows 10 MS built in feature to display onto the projector. The features may be limited compared to competitors at same price however the features that are provided work great. The ECO settings allow for customization of light Optimization , sleep mode / sleep timer standby Mode, etc. This is a nice feature to allow it to self power down to save the light bulb. The Power Consumption menu pretty much allows you to enable or disable the ECO settings. The Keystone help correcting the corners of the projected screen to make it even on uneven surfaces. It is a nice option instead of trying to continually move the unit itself. The Color Mode allows you to change between presets: Dynamic / Presentation / Cinema / sRGB / Blackboard. The Menu allows full access to all the features available the system. The additional item is Network which allows you to switch between LAN or wireless setup. However if you do not have a wireless adapter the wireless will allow you to setup however will not work. The Help on the menu helps with network setup however does not go into much more details. Overall this is a nice projector that included a carry case which was a nice touch. However if looking for a more functional device would recommend investing in the higher end model.

This is a great Projector for just casual use and is better than cheaper models because of the features it does have. The only reason I am eating this a 4 is because it does not have built in wifi connectivity but you can always just plug in a chrome cast firestick etc my only issue is that then that takes up the 1 HDMI in the back of the unit. But if that's not a big deal then this projector is perfect.

I do quite a bit of presenting with my job - and have access to a variety of projectors and displays to use. It is fitting to compare this with the others. Right off the top, I must admit I love the fact that it comes with a bag and it easy to carry! It ranks higher than many of the older projectors I use, and it's smaller size would make my choice to drag around with me when I go mobile! For the price (as it's the lower end of the pricing spectrum for projectors), this unit throws a nice bright image. Image quality and coloring are very good - just have a nice bright white wall or screen to use it with. It's not BluRay quality, but perfect for presentations or graphics (I like to test with detailed Visio Network diagrams). There are lots of input as pictured - the full size HDMI is a welcome option. It does have a speaker, but it's a projector speaker. If you have a booming presentation with embedded audio, hook that up to the room speaker system to get a more "full" effect. Overall - very happy with the project. Whether it's displaying your child's Graduation pictures in your garage, projecting to your church up to 350 feet away, or showing a presentation, demo, etc to your business - this unit is portable, fairly quiet and super easy to setup.

This is the second Epson projector I've put into use in my office. We use it for a variety of individual and group settings including reviewing CAD drawings, PDFs and digital slideshow presentations. The Epson EX3260 offers SVGA-quality images, including a 16:9 ratio not stated in the specs. The images are good, though (not surprisingly) static images will pixelate at around 12' projection distances and beyond. We tested in dark, windowless rooms and a daytime space with two large windows diagonally located. The latter environment is not at all ideal (again, no surprise here) but the Epson does offer enough brightness and contrast setting range to render the images legible. We were pleased to see a range of connections: VGA, Composite Video/Audio (RCA), USB (audio and video!), HDMI and Wireless LAN! It's super-easy to set-up thanks to controls on both the unit and remote control. Tweaks are easy with a series of on-screen menus. The included speaker is loud enough for most offices and small-medium size conference rooms. Ours was tested in a 12x18 space and received no complaints. Finally, someone got wise and included a nice black nylon carring bag with a strap. Good touch.

For a quick, lightweight, bright and simple presentation projector the Epson EX3260 is great for any environment. This 3300 lumen projector punches through just about any room lighting and provides vibrant colors. Multiple input options to include HDMI, VGA, RCA and USB make it simple to connect to a computer or other video devices. The projector automatically corrects keystone when it is tilted but does provide manual vertical and horizontal keystone settings for getting the picture as squared as you want it. It has a built in speaker that is enough to be heard in a small room but does tend to give a vibration sound at high volumes. A carrying case is provided so that you can easily pack it up and take it like a laptop bag. The power down is almost instant compared to some projectors that require a cool down period, so quick to pack back up. This model is only SVGA (800x600) and small text and fine details will be lost, just think original style monitors with large icons and font. It plays video just fine though and presentations with 14+ font still look legible on a 120” screen. The EX3260 also has all the menu settings of the pro model, such as split image and wireless network, but they are not available on this model. However, a separate wireless module can be added to the USB to make it wireless. There is manual focus and zoom option to get the the best size out of your image as well as a digital zoom feature to get up to 4x zoom on the image displayed within the boundaries of the screen. If you need a bright, colorful image on a wall, up to 360” which is more than enough to cover the wall of a two story building, this projector can do it. If you are looking to have high resolution, such as reading this review on your wall, this is not the projector. However, usually as you get higher in resolution you begin lose brightness, so it depends on what you you need.

    IMPRESSIVE!!!

This is a review for the Epson EX3260 Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I honestly couldn't be more pleased with the Epson EX3260 Projector! First off, I would just like to state that I am in no way technically savvy. While I do use complicated machinery and electronics in my line of work, I admit that I usually have an assistant that sets them up and leads me through the basic operations. With that being said, I was beyond impressed with how easy the setup of the Epson EX3260 was. The directions were clear and the illustrations provided made it practically impossible to make a mistake. I alone had this projector set up and running in minutes. The ports (HDMI, USB, Computer) are clearly labeled so you're not searching for what cord goes where. I absolutely love that multiple video devices (tablets, smartphones, digital cameras, flash drives) are able to be connected (*may require downloading an app or using an additional adapter). This makes it so convenient to project whatever info/multi media that I need without having to download it all to my computer. Another incredible feature that has made the projector a real pleasure to operate is the remote. You can pretty much control everything you need to from it - source selection, menu, home screen etc. And you don't have to be standing right in front of the projector either. You can freely move about the room while operating the remote. Perhaps the most impressive feature of the Epson EX3260 is the quality of the images. The resolution and the color brightness absolutely blew me away! My old projector was grainy & blurry and the colors just ran together. The Epson EX3260 projects sharp, bright, crystal clear images that I have never before seen with a projector. Having both high color brightness and high white brightness truly makes a world of difference! It's really quite amazing! The quick access keys on the top of the projector along with foot release button located in the front just under the lens make it so easy to perform adjustments without have to move the projector at all. Those days of propping the projector up on a book or two to get it aligned correctly with the screen are finally gone! The sound quality was really good - obviously you would need to connect speakers/surround sound if you were projecting in a really large space but for the average size meeting room, the sound is perfectly audible. I also was very pleased that there was no lag time between slides making my presentations flow properly and effortlessly. This projector is also lightweight and completely portable. It comes with a really nice, durable carrying case making ideal for on-the-go, quality presentations! All in all, the Epson EX3260 is a solid projector that lives up to it's claims! It is lightweight & easily portable while projecting images with color and brightness that are nothing short of excellent! I have used mine for general power point presentations at work, for projecting graphs and quarterly reports at church council meetings and even used it to put on fun slide show for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. With all of these applications coming off successful and professional, I've really upped my game in the presentation field! I am going to use it this Summer to show some outdoor movies for the neighborhood which should be really exciting! And while there are some advanced features available that I haven't even mentioned yet, like setting up a wireless connection or projecting from multiple computers, I intend to explore every awesome thing this projector is capable of and I'm confident that they will be just as impressive as what I've already seen! And as for the price point, it's less expensive than what I would expect for the impressive quality and comprehensive functionality. The Epson EX3260 is highly deserving of my Five Star rating!

Overall i have been impressed with the functionality of this projector. I have used sever different types of projectors for work but i always come back to this brand. Other projectors seems to be 3 or 4 times the size of this unit and put out less. Even thought this projector does not have wireless capability, thats ok. I was not expecting all of the bells and whistles to be built into this product. It is more than sufficient to light up a conference room that seats 20 people with its 3300 lumens. One feature that i loved about this projector is how quiet it is. Other untis i have used at work sound like a rocket taking off. This one "warms up" in 5 seconds and is whisper quiet while running fill speed. Plug ins are standard, 2 usb, hdmi... all you need. Comes with a carrying case to make checking the product in/out a breeze too! All in all this is a very sturdy projector that is whisper quiet and deliver a vivid product even in well lit rooms.
