I purchased this for my well lit basement with lots of outside lighting. The high def is amazing and the quality of the picture is awesome. I primarily watch sports and movies and get comments from my buddies in how great the picture is

Best projector under $1000. I added a 120 inch Elite Screen to top it off. If you are on a budget buy this....do not hesitate.

I was in the markets for a new projector for the patio,after purchasing a small pico projector I was just not satisfied with it. So I went into Bestbuy and a sales rep recommend this one and boy am I glad he did. The picture is amazing! And the sound is pretty good as well,good enough I haven't invested into a sound system for it yet. I highly recommend this projector!

We love this projector. Great quality pictures. We have a room we can fully darken so we run it in eco mode and it is plenty bright. Awesome projector for the cost. We get complements on it all the time. Would recommend for sure.

Love, Love, Love!! Bought it to use during a mission trip to show movies and it exceeded my expectations. Showed a movie on a concrete wall and the color was brilliant and the size was amazingly huge without affecting the quality.

I primarily use this for work but I have also set it up in my back yard to watch major sporting events & movies. The quality of the picture is great and its very user friendly. Works great with iPhone or a labtop.

Just as my summary states, you get a lot of projector for the money but the fan noise was a deal breaker for me. Because of the short throw of this projector I needed to place it 10 feet from my screen placing it right over my head. Even in Eco mode the fan was distracting but in 3D mode the fan doubles forcing me to turn up the volume on the receiver just to drown it out. The black levels are also very poor and is more suited for a room that you will always have some lighting on, in a fulling light control room the black bars are always gray. Frame Interpolation works but will tear on fast moving action so unless you can't live without that feature will you most likely want to turn it off. If you can get over the fan noise the 3D effect is excellent for the price and I would guess the best you can get in this price range. Ultimately, I ended up returning it and upgrading to the Epson 3500 and never looked back.

Definitely a great buy for the price. Have it displaying on a 100' screen. Looks nice and bright even with lights on. Blacks really look good once you darken the room or view at night. Great 3D compared to our 60' 3D plasma.

The quality of picture looks good , even the speaker is good enough for small room . It's really worth for the paying money

This is the best projector I've ever tried. It has incredibly clear quality and you can show films up to 300 inches. It was also great to play video games on and it is better than any TV I sought in the store. I was originally looking at television and then caught my eye and decided to try it out. It was a great decision and I do not regret it. I spend hours a day in front of my new projector and all my friends love it as well. It is great for parties, sleepovers and nights on the couch with your significant other. I highly recommend this projector for the price instead of spending $50 every time you go to the movie theater you make your money back within a year . Don't go with anything less than an Epson they truly are the number one projector company in my eyes.

I had it 20 feet away and just look good at night.. but during the day not too good.. I need the 3500e for higher distance or deeper on blacks; the room has big windows with shutters and curtains maybe not dark enough or poor quality for a larger room. I loved the price...but I need to invest on something bigger...

Overall it's not a bad projector (got it on sale) but, the throw is barely adjustable. It has a slide ring that changes the throw about 2 ft in and out. So, unless it doesn't matter where you place/mount the projector in the room it's not worth the other features. I'm still thinking of returning it as it has to sit in the middle of the room to fill the screen correctly.
