I bought the Epson 2045 last September. The quality of the picture was fine and acceptable for the price. I used it a couple of times for backyard viewing and stored it for the winter. I tried it again this year, and I only get a blue screen. None of the buttons work. Epson customer support was unable to troubleshoot this as well. All they can provide is for a refurbished unit as a replacement. They would not consider sending a new unit even though their warranty does not explicitly state that they will only send refurbished units. Now I am stuck with a replacement unit that looks a lot more used than mine. I would stay away from Epson just based on this customer service experience and their warranty policy.

Light weight, less expensive 1080p LCD projector, very good and crisp clear screen

Wasn't the easiest thing to set up but once I figured it out it worked well.

You can't go wrong with this projector. Got it on sale - great value for the price.

I really like the projector. I had a good price when I bought it. So far so good.

Fantastic video quality but when watching football the ball would appear to "jump" when thrown in the air. Im no expert but can only assume this was due to motion blur. Surprising as this model claims to have smooth motion and I actually found that its little brother (the Epson 1040) was better for watching sports.

I prefer Epson projectors for the best quality at the lease or most decent price!

The picture is surprisingly good.l for the price of the projector.

Best clarity i have seen. Only downside is sound it makes when its in eco mode.

Customer service was really good and I was able to find everything in the store.

You need to doeskersveven though there are built in speakers. You must have total silence to hear and even then it is not loud enough. Fortunately I had great help at best buy and they recommended speakers with the built in ones. It was the right move. Otherwise we could not have enjoyed the movie.
