Nice projector - poor remote and an effective oven
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PRO - Initially I thought clear picture HD, brightness, and lot of controls. Handy controls and easy setup. NEUTRAL - Bit bulky. no antenna port. CON - Remote is not so good and menu is not either. The amount of heat it produces especially when you turn on 3D. Yet to test 3D quality.

Wow!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very impressed! Looked at many projectors. Almost a year. Never owned one so didn't want to throw cash away and be regretful. This Epson seemed to have the best color reproduction by reviews. I can only say for us, this was amazing! Great clear picture with deep color. If you are looking for a good picture then this is it. Can't say I bought or saw anything else to compare it to but it is really nice and a good buy for the money. If BestBuy still offers a 200.00 gift card with purchase then I'd say it is really a no brainer. Very clear picture and great color. Wow! Looked at youtube for something to compare. There is a high end model above this that really, isn't any better than this projector. Just as clear and amazing. You shouldn't be disappointed at all. I watched an older movie, Top Gun, on my wall at about a 10' projection. Saw the planes racing through the clouds and thought......when did I put that window in there. IT WAS JUST SOMETHING TO SEE ALL THE NATURE AND SKY WITH CLOUDS. Can't wait to just put outdoor images on that wall........Like adding a new space to our home! Worth the money, great deal! Now looking forward to movie night outside. Have a 12' screen ready for family night outdoors!

Epson - Home Cinema 2045
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This projector is great. Great picture. Very bright. 2 hdmi connections and it also has audio output which is a bonus. Ive done 2 movie nights with the family and watched several movies. The kids love it. The 3d is also great. Ive paired it with sony rf 3d glasses and samsung rf 3d glasses and both worked great. Miracast workes flawless. Streamed movies from my phone to the projector and it was perfect. The projector automatically adjusts when you use the front lift on the projector which is a great feature.

Awsome little projector
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ok so I bought a Epson 3020 a month ago and returned it because of the price drop and then saw that Epson is coming out with a new model next month. so finally it was available on 21st Sep at best buy. when I bought this I thought it might be lesser than 2030 because of lesser lumens BUT I was wrong. Its even better than 3020 plus it has wireless capability. Its is so light and smaller then the more expensive Epson. You will be amazed about its size and the brightness and light weight. This review is just on the bases of 3 days of use and havnt looked at the 3d part yet.

Great Projector, Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this projector with the $300 Gamer's Club gift card promotion and what a great projector it is. The picture is clear and bright in dim and full lighting in my basement. I also purchased a 100" 16:9 screen and it's just right for this projector. 2 HDMI ports allow me to hook up a Roku 2 and my Xbox One. There is an audio out (3.5mm) that connects to my Vizio soundbar. Overall, an outstanding price on this Epson projector and is truly well worth it.

Dead pixel as soon as warranty ran out
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im really disappointed after spending all this money that I now have a glaring dead pixel staring at me everytime im trying to watch a movie. I expected much higher quality and reliability from an epson product. Now I'm stuck just like that pixel.

best home cinema until now!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LCD-based Epson Home Cinema 2045 3D 1080p 3LCD Projector is one of the less expensive 1080p, 3D home-entertainment projectors on the market. It’s also one of the few sub-$1,000 models that are built around a three-chip LCD engine, which guarantees that it can’t show rainbow artifacts. Beyond that, it offers near-excellent image quality, a short lag time that gamers will appreciate, and some video processing features that until recently were available only on more expensive options. Epson 2045 is a True Home Cinema Projector, as below: The 2045 prioritizes HDMI (typically used in home theaters) as the source selections. On top of that, there are play and pause buttons on the 2045’s remote. Whereas the Epson 2045 projects a 90” wide image. That means the Epson 2045 provides a bigger image than the 1040 at a shorter distance, thus is more living room (or even bedroom) friendly. See detail in www.amperaz.com

Good Quality, Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was going to purchase the Epson 2030 until I woke up one morning and had a great deal in my email. It was if I buy the Epson 2045 I would get a $200 gift card. So, I purchased it and couldn't be happier. I have been watching football and movies on it and the screen quality is phenomenal. I need to make some minor adjustments to the area because it is so bright in my basement that it reflects off of the white walls, but that is a change that I need to make personally. The only complaint I have is that most projectors sold right now do not have a High Def audio output. I use that cable to connect it to my soundbar but the projectors don't have them.

Amazing Projector
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this projector for my newly redone patio,After doing a ton of research and comparing other projectors I went with this Epson. At first I was a little worried that the lumen output was a little lower than the others but this projector puts out one heck of an image. I can almost compare it to the movie theaters. Even when its light outside which all projectors have problem with ambient light you can still make out the images and see it fine. The app for the projector is HORRIBLE!! You can only throw images and certain documents wirelessly,No video. If you have an iPhone you will need to get the Lighting to HDMI adapter from apple and connect your device that way. The throw distance on this projector is amazing,I have the projector sitting about 6-8 ft away from my screen and it fills in just about the full 120 inches of the screen. I have not tried the 3D out yet as I havent been able to find the 3D glasses. The projector does put out a TON of heat on its right side which is normal, just keep this in mind if your using it in a non AC room. I highly recommend this projector,You wont be disappointed.

excellent home theater
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now that I have been using this unit for a couple of days and playing with all the features, I must say this little guy is a great performer. The built in Wi-Fi was easy to setup and add to my wireless network. Then just for the heck of it I grabbed my Android phone and tapped screen mirroring and tapped the Epson showing on the network and VOLIA'.. My phone screen is projected to 120" I watched some You Tube , stored HD videos and photos..all I can say is wow looks really great! Nice features for a mere $49 On day to day watching with AT&T U-verse the picture is just stunning. The screen really looks just like a 120" LCD TV It might sound like exaggeration, but it is that good. I think Epson knocked really knocked it out of the park on this model.

Excellent Projector in less than 1K cost
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this projector in January'16 and I strongly say that Its an awesome projector. below 1K cost, It gives you HD Quality Video Including 3D. As it supports MHL devices like Google Chromecast, Roku and it has a separate HDMI slot for MHL devices. I have connected my Chromecast 2 and Job is done. I can cast any youtube videos, netflix on my projector and I love the Video quality. I have connected my 3D bluray player through a second HDMI connection to this projector. what else we can expect from a projector less than $1000. Bestbuy is one of the best place to purchase as this projector comes as brand new and with $200 or $300 gift card depends of the offer(at times). My son always love to watch kids videos/movies on this projector. My room has a throwing distance around 12-13 feet and I'm getting about 118" screen diagonally.

Great Projector and great value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a projector setup for summer movies outdoors. I read a lot of reviews and faced a choice of 3 projectors. My main requirements were 1080p, good lumens output, 2 HDMI slots. Wireless and 3D were a bonus feature but all my shortlist had 3D. I chose this based on the other reviews below. I am perfectly happy with this. We held our first outdoor family movie night. The output lumens were enough to start the movie at dusk and it was perfect. Clean, sharp, bright and plenty of natural color. The blacks were also superb. This outperforms my 65" Sharp Quattron LED and Panasonic Plasma for picture quality and reproduction of blacks. We had it roughly 15ft away from the wall and I would estimate that our picture diagonal was about 15-20ft. Suffice to say that I am perfectly happy with the purchase and would recommend this to anyone. You will not be disappointed. For the record, I also purchased an open-box Samsung curved soundbar (saving $300) with wireless subwoofer and the sound quality matched the picture. It was a great movie night!

Good product for low price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice projector with better display for the price. Picture quality seems to be good on day light as well. Decent sound from the in built speakers. You do hear little fan sound when watching in bright cinema or dynamic color mode is turned on. Lens shift option would add more advantage to this projector. Other than that no complaints.

Very good quality picture for the value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. But we need to source with bluray or 1080p content for maximum effect. Long throw projector - Only con which I miss is not having the horizontal lens shift. Good colors and nice for living room with medium sun light exposure. I personally had lights on but still able to get good picture.

Awe-some!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome projector...at any price. The picture rivals my 65" Panasonic 1080p plasma; no joke. The picture jumps off the screen. The CFI (similar to 120hz motion flow) capability provides a big boost to the picture quality. I watch a lot of live sports and play video games and the picture is smooth. It causes a bit of the soap opera effect, but I like it. I actually bought the Epson 3500 but returned it for the 2045. For me, the CFI capability made the difference, as well as the price point. The only con I have is the limited zoom capability compared to throw distance. If you can deal with the limited zoom I recommend buying the 2045.

Great Projector under $1000
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did some research before buying this projector. The picture of this project is great! The color of this projector is very vivid and accurate. The black level may not be as good as DLP but it is not bad at all to me. It does have fan noise when it's put on the normal mode.
