Had to buy this for a client that was having a party for the Alabama game. it was after hours. this is a great Projector for the money. I have 24 years in the business

We wanted a projector for television, netflix, and DVDs. This fits the bill. It projects onto a screen with a very clear picture and hooked up to our devises easily.

Waited, and bought this on sale, for regular price plus a $200.00 B. Buy gift card. Anything I would write would sound like an glowing add. It's because at this price point it is a steal. Slightly above entry level prices for 1080P. $100.00 replacement bulb. Very fast scaling, and refresh rates. I use this projector daily for a half hour to 4 plus hours mainly gaming or watching Blu-Rays winding down from an extremely stressful job. The amount that I use this I did get the 4 year service plan, and now I don't have this as a weight on me if it does break, as I have too much on my plate already. Truly this was a fantastic buy for me.

Easy to use. Easy set up. Easily connects to my Apple TV. Awesome quail And great picture.

The projector is slightly noisy but projects great picture on our screen. We enjoy our home theater and this is a great addition.

Great product just upgraded to 2045 projector. It is HD clear,screen size is adjustable and fits perfectly on my white wall. I would highly recommend you buying this product .

Other reviews say the fan is noisy buy I didn't think so. Nice quality picture and brightness. Have not tried 3D mode yet so can't comment on that.

I've never owned a projector prior to this but after extensive research I settled on the Epson 2045. The picture is bright on the screen that I use and works very well in eco mode. Cable looks washed out but sharp, and blu ray looks amazing with movie theater quality. Video games look great and I haven't noticed any lag. Netflix looks almost as good as blu ray, while HBO and Showtime via streaming service look better than cable, but significantly worse than Netflix. My only gripe with the picture quality is poor black levels and there is crosstalk present when viewing 3d. The remote is extremely responsive and you don't need to aim it which is good. No backlight though. There is a motion interpolation feature which is good for sports and video games, but I definitely would suggest turning it off for movies. There is also apparently 2d to 3d conversion, which I haven't been able to successfully use. There is a "miracast" feature too and I have heard that it is very complicated to get working, however I just screen share with the blu ray player that I have hooked up to it. There are two significant negatives with this projector that cause it to only get 3 stars. One, there is no lens shift, which means you'll have to use keystone correction with most setups. Two, the projector that I have in my possession shuts off if I move it around while powered on and won't turn back on unless I unplug it first. Customer support from Epson was unable to correctly identify or fix this issue and thought that the plug was coming loose in the back. I can assure you that this isn't the case. Overall I am happy with this purchase for now.

I bought this projector as an upgrade from a Sony 720p projector. In comparison at 1080p I am very happy with the higher resolution of the Home Cinema 2045. It projects a sharp, bright picture capable of viewing during daylight hours, but is stunning in a light controlled room. The projector is loaded with features including 2 hdmi inputs with 1 featuring MHL that allows you to plug in a streaming stick and be directly powered by the projector. With its built in speaker a blank wall is all you need to enjoy a movie anywhere!

First time purchasing a projector and chose this one after reading many reviews. It didn't let us down, I am very impressed with the picture clarity. This thing is easy to setup and very bright. I really haven't found one thing to complain about yet. We ceiling mounted in a location that gave us a full picture on the screen due to the lack of adjustment. Great buy!

This projector is the primary gadget of my living too. I have a PS4 and an Xbox 1S hooked up to it. This projector makes anything from movies to video games come to life. Despite being 1080p the Picture quality and brightness are amazing. I’ve never run into any issues. Will buy an epson projector again.

I did some research before buying a projector and I'm happy with my choice. The 2045 has a quality picture on a wall and I'm not yet using a screen. My wife and I have pondered if we even need the screen. I have not yet tried the 3D but I'm looking forward to it. Works great with my blueray, streaming device, and both xboxes I have. I hooked up a sound bar and it works great

I bought the projector after reading all the reviews and was somewhat skeptical. However the first time we turned the projector on the whole family was blown away by the clarity of the picture. We have been projecting it on your media room wall which is painted brown and cannot believe the picture. It is incredible and although may not be as clear as our 60 inch OLED but it is a totally different experience. I am sure using a projector screen will only improve the picture. The sound is obviously poor from 5w speaker however that was easily taken care of with an amp with surround speakers. For the money this is a great buy

I got this for my first media room. So far I'm happy with it, the picture is bright, and uniform, the colors are vivid and the bulb life is pretty amazing. Refresh rates are great for gaming and watching sports. The black levels are a bit lacking, but really not as bad as some make them out to be. If you understand that the projector can't make blacks, and that the surface and ambient light are really what control that, then you'll be fine. Scored mine with a $200 BB GC rebate. Made the deal even better.

Performs amazing, great picture. The second fan in non Eco mode keeps it cool and doesn't shut down

I bought this for outdoor movie nights. Using it on a 7' x 12' screen. The quality is ridiculously awesome, even before it is completely dark. No rainbow effect. Very easy to operate. The only con is the built-in speaker is not good. You will need a different way to play the sound.

Was looking for a step up from my previous projector. This having 3D and some of the frame improvements got me to a nice place while keeping the huge screen. It's not 4K but it's a nice improvement for the money.

This projector is amazing. I've got it setup in our home theater room for a 170 inch screen and it's better than I ever imagined it could be
