This projector is amazing. I've got it setup in our home theater room for a 170 inch screen and it's better than I ever imagined it could be

This is a great projector for the price. There are some areas that prevent this projector from being an excellent one, other than just being great. I am going to list the Pros first, and then follow by the Cons. Pro: It produces very sharp video. It has this “3D” (not the actual 3D) effect that makes me feel like the video are actually present in my room rather than on the screen. It produces smooth video. In the beginning scene of the movie Star Wars Force Awaken after the Prologue is displayed and slowly moving toward a bright Planet, this movement is very smooth. When I watched this same scene in a DLP projector of a different brand, the movement was not smooth and shuttering. It produces a very large display area in my room. Some reviewers have stated that there is a problem in the placement of this projector. I had this concern prior making the purchase. It turns out not a problem for me. I used the same ceiling projector mount that I used to have for the DLP projector, and then added a few inches extension by using a makeshift extension tube. The image size and projector distance turns out just fine. Build quality is top notch. The material is solid and looks nice. No Rainbow effect. This is great deal for me as I was quite annoyed by the Rainbow Effect of the DLP projector that I used to have. Cons: The contrast is a bit behind DLP projector – an inherited problem of LCD projector (at least for the less expensive one). The black is more like gray. In bright scene, the color appears to be a wash out The fan is bit noisy. It is a not a big problem for me as I mounted in the ceiling. In closing, this is a great projector for the price. It is almost the same price as the DLP that I used to have, but the video quality is much better with this one.

Really love by 2045 at the price point. The feature of frame interpolation is not even available to next higher version of epson series. brightness for an LCD is awesome and perfect for my rather 18*16 media room . Images are crisp. And i bought this during the sale rebate of 200 dollar plus 200 dollar gift card. Awesome budget friendly

Product preforms wonderful, bright picture even with lights on. 3D works better than expected, don't overspend on the classes. Epson wants $99 per Pair, there not needed. Just get sync able RF. Samsung has some for as little as $12 on the web or $19 at Bestbuy

The quality of the picture on this projector is equivalent to that of a $$$$ projector, the only thing I don't like is that you have to buy a special type of mounting bracket.

After a lot of research this is the one to get. Best Buy for your money amazing picture better than my tv.

We have really enjoyed this projector. We project it onto a yellow painted wall and haven't had any image problems.

We bought this for my husbands movie room, and had it hung from ceiling. It’s a really nice projector.

Bought this unit (and an HD A/V receiver) to replace a 10 year old NEC projector that finally "kicked the bucket". The "new" HD picture quality of the EPSON projector on my 5x7 foot screen is simply amazing. I didn't know a projection system could be so clear. I have not yet purchased the 3D glasses to utilize that capability... (but maybe Santa is reading this... hint, hint...)

Have only had for two week but GREAT projector! Even in a room with a lot of windows, very happy with our purchase.

I purchased this projector about a month ago and so far I've been very happy with it. My previous projector had to be in a very dark room where as this projector has a very clear picture even with the shades open. The only negative comment that I have is that the fan is pretty noisy even in eco-position.

Pretty simple to set up, great bright picture. Not a big fan of short throw, but it does the job

this is one of the best projectors you can get for the money. has wireless streaming and works good. picture is great and it does 1080 good black level (you can get better dont get me wrong but you will pay double to triple the price) highly recommend, deff the best bang for the buck..

Overall，it is great. It might be a little bit noisy when running at dynamic or bright color mode.

Great projector under 1000 dollars. Plus i got a 200 dollar gift card. I would recommend this projector, the picture looks great!

ITS GREAT WHEN IT WORKS LIKE ITS SUPPOSE TO, WE HAD ONE AND IT HAD A FAULTY BULB SO WE HAD TO RETURN IT, THIS NEW ONE THAT WE RECD BLACKS OUT SOMETIMES TOO AND THEN THE PICTURE COME BACK IN. NOT SURE IF ITS THE HDMI CORD (WHICH IS BRAND NEW) OR THE PROJECTOR BUT OVER ALL ITS GREAT UNTIL IT DOES THAT. THE CLARITY IS AMAZING YOU FEEL LIKE YOU ARE IN THE MOVIE EASY TO SET UP AND GET CONNECTED.
