We use this projector for a "home theater" to watch movies and the picture quality is great. Haven't brought it outside yet, but so far we are happy with the purchase.

This is my first projector so I did lot of research and this was the only option which did fit my requirements and budget . Easy to setup . Very bright image . Even the speaker volume is decent enough if you don’t have an A/V receiver . Would wait for another 2 months before I give it full 5 star rating

This was my first projector and works great. Installation was very easy. I was worried at first after turning it on because the picture was not that great but after a few adjustments I became pretty impressed comparing it to my Sony 70" TV that cost $2000. With that being said, I'm using it in an a very dark room. The fan is a little loud but you don't notice it with your surround sound on. If you are watching in eco mode it is very quite. Have not used the wireless feature so not sure how well it works. Overall for the price I think it is a great buy!

Best out there for the price!! Can’t be beaten. If this is your budget you won’t be disappointed. Yes you can hear it when it’s on but quickly gets drowned out with sound from your speakers

Great picture took some time to get connected to my computer wirelessly but when it did that was awesome. Mono output for speakers not good for surround sound. Sounded better connected to my Bose speaker. Wish it had an output for surround sound.

    Good midrange home cinema projector

Good midrange home cinema projector had better performance than expected in a lit room. Would def recommended spending the extra $300+ dollars than getting the entry level home cinema projector models but all depends on your use case. If you are looking for a quick and dirty night time set up to have a movie up in the back yard with some friends and the kids you can probably explore the lower cost models however if you are truly looking to find a projector to replace a 1080p tv setup this is a great value. Sharp crisp image even when you are not able to blackout the whole room and can get a screen size of up to 110" inches which is incredible when you pair it with a true projector screen. Tested this projector with a plethora of devices and the image looked great on all of the devices (up to 1080p resolution) Devices I tested: - Apple TV - Chromecast Ultra - Nintendo Switch - Playstation 4 - Dell Precision 5520

I have had a media room with a large plasma TV in it for about the past 7 years. I was always apprehensive to jump into the projector game, but I am so glad I did! This Epson gives a great picture on our 110" screen! Some complain about the fan noise, but if you put it in regular cinema mode, it is very quiet and hardly noticeable if you're watching a movie (especially an action film with the sound cranked up). Very easy to operate and install. The lens shift and keystone capabilities make this a great option for beginners and self-installers.

I’m currently using this for my home theatre. Works great. Not noisy at all. Does create a lot of heat but all in all displays a great image. Ideal for a room with limited windows
