Amazing projector, only flaw for me was their miracast which projected whatever was on my phone to the projector. Which is what you are paying for an extra $50-$100 to do might as well stay with the 2100 if its app is so poorly designed.

I am so impressed by this projector. The picture quality is second to none. Just make sure you have a good quality screen to go with it so you're not losing out on the quality this projector offers. I tried it without a screen (just projected it on a blank wall) the first time I used it. And while you can of course do this, the quality does obviously go down. If you're buying this projector, you want to make sure you're getting the full value of it. The same quality goes for the sound on this. The projector itself is very quiet. It has a fan of course, but when the sound from whatever you're watching is playing, you won't notice the fan. The versatility and ease of use of this projector are also excellent. You can hook up so many different devices to it and you can use the projector almost anywhere. Depending on the screen you get, you can set up inside or outside and have an amazing movie night, sports party, etc. Add to that that this projector is 3D capable and you're talking a totally different experience. I feel like I've just scratched the surface of the capabilities of this projector and can't wait to try connecting different devices to it.

Only used it twice but it’s easy to use and has a really good picture for the money. Recommend this and I used it w. 144 in sceeen

This is my first projector I didn’t want to buy a cheap one but one that would last and show quality movies for my need I found this one to be the best selection for me.

Really happy with this purchase since COVID happened haven’t gone to the movies so we watch a lot of movies on this projector.

Bought this to replace the Epson - PowerLite Home Cinema 2030, not as loud as the 2030, but you can still hear the fan. Its not that bad because I have the volume up since it is in a large room for movies & sports. Good by so far for the price.

This was a major upgrade from my old projector. What's nice is you can even watch it in the daylight! Great image quality.

This is my second Epson projector. I really love it. I went with a higher contrast on this one. It makes the picture look so much better.

I'd consider this Epson 2150 a low-to-mid-priced projector, but it provides a fantastic picture at larger sizes that almost makes the need for a large flatscreen tv moot (YMMV). Sharpness, color saturation, and contrast are the best I've seen, and the variety of inputs make it useful for many purposes - not just watching a movie displayed at 90" (the biggest my dedicated indoor space can handle). Audio is a shortcoming, of course. The unit has a 10w speaker but also an aux input for powered speakers or headphones, or a receiver/speaker system. I added a good 2.1 system and watched Mad Max: Fury Road via HDMI and it was awesome. Most of that movie is sound and motion so if it is sports and action movies you watch, this could be a good option - if you add a sound system. The instruction manual states that the projector converts digital audio from the source to stereo analog out, so that's nice. It feels a little like watching a flick at the outdoor theater, but with a 1100% better picture. I need to get me some red and white striped popcorn boxes and Cheez Whiz for bad nachos. I don't plan to mount it but lens shift, zoom, and keystone correction (to "square" the picture box) make up for any limitations of tabletop placement, as long as it is horizontally centered reasonably well. The ECO mode saves lamp life and power and is adequate for a lot of video (IMO) but is only an option. I plan to make good use of it. In my opinion, this is priced really well for the video quality and features. It's very portable (about 7 lbs) and the lamp is rated for 4000 and 7500 (Eco mode) hours and is at this time only about $50 to replace. Notes: 3LCD system means no "rainbow" effect on fast action video there is a variety of modes and aspect ratios to suit your needs Miracast for mirroring displays streaming from Roku, Chromecast, Fire TV can project 3D content from 3D source for use with 3D glasses 1.6x zoom and focus controls remote included - many settings can be made via the remote selections of color modes and auto iris to fine-tune the picture according to room lighting and brightness of projected video I haven't been this excited about using an AV product in a while! I don't really have anything to complain about (except the audio) with this projector. For gaming, sports, and movies I'd definitely recommend the Epson Home Cinema 2150 for your short list if you can't or don't want to spend thousands on a projector, especially considering the relatively low cost of replacement lamps.
