Finally
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been wanting to set up a projector for years. Finally a friend offered me his 100 inch screen as he got a bigger one. This lit my fire and after some research I purchased this projector.....part because it had bluetooth. I also got a 20 dollar bluetooth receiver for my stereo system, plugged um up, and within about 15 minutes was watching a stunning picture like i was sitting in a theater. I wa worried about lag with the BT, but you cannot detect the delay....microsecond maybe....brightness is great. I've got two good sized windows and even in middle of day, the picture is great! WIsh I had done before! I also bought a 15 dollar mount of Amazon to hang it....took a little ingenuity to make it work, but not paying 120 bucks for "epson" mount.

Top notch
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have purchased three different projectors. This one is the best and definitely deserves five stars. Easy to carry and bring with you when traveling. Easy to use. Works great with your phone or a Firestick or Roku. Need an adapter to use with phone. Picture quality and sound is as great at going to the theater. All my family and friends are amazed and some of them went to purchase this identical one. I even prefer this over my very expensive large TV. Picture quality is really nice too and not grainy. I have very sensitive eyes and this projector doesn’t bother them. It works beautifully on a screen and also works just as beautiful on the wall. Would buy again.

Love it!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Epson - Home Cinema 1060 witch was beautiful but have an issue with it and had to return. I decided to go with the upgraded model with this one and I am so glad I did. I didn't think a picture quality to get much better but this is just stunning! The colors pop and the picture is nice and crisp.

Show on the bare wall
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this projector. I was scared reading the comments but I dropped the bag on it anyway. I wear glasses so not having the blue light helps, I forgot to buy the screen but on the wall I didn’t notice anything different. I play my PS3 and 4 on it so no complaints on the playing part. Even COD looks good on it. It shows better at night but even in the day time I can see it and I have it on ECO mode. The bright cinema looks great but im a conservative style person so I keep it on low settings and adjusted quite great. Fan can make it noisy since I sit right by it but I have the volume up so it’s tolerable and you can hear everything regardless

Great Projector, Great Price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This projector is one of the best balances of affordability and quality on the market. It also has the perfect combination of brightness and black level to allow usage in a multi-purpose theater. We share our theater room with a kids' play area and need to be able to watch with some lights on occasionally and this does the job without sacrificing black levels when the room is blacked-out. Also great 3d, solid input lag and extremely affordable replacement lamps (~$50) make this an excellent choice. I can't imagine the marginal increase in quality is worth paying 3x+ the price of this projector for higher-end models. This is the sweet spot unless you've just got money to blow.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The epson 2150 is a great mid level projector. Very bright picture with low lighting. There are a lot of folks on the Avr forums that are very impressed what you get for the money. There are some higher end features built in and you will not be disappointed. I do have a very good screen and I'me sure that helps.

Oh man, this is the way to watch TV and Movies!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't ready to drop the major coin for a 4k projector so I"settled" for this 3Dprojecting bad boy...WOOOO! Even projecting on a wall, this thing looks awesome. The 3D is amazing too! It will even convert 2-d stuff to 3D,although the effect is ok,depending on what you are watching. The projector is strong enough to show in a fairly bright room. There are no RCA inputs,so unless you have a receiver that converts RCA to HDMI signals,no old school Video game systems can be played unless you buy an adapter.Wireless function is cool too, let's you transmit pics and videos from a smartphone, although it's more compatible with Android than Apple.Sound is fairly weak,it'll do in a pinch.

Decent projector, but with minor issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got super excited to buy my first projector. After lot of research I bought Epson Home Cinema 2150 as it support native 1080p and support wireless mirroring. First its bad experience buying from Best Buy during holiday season. My order automatically got cancelled multiple times or store pickup got changed to ship to home automatically couple of times. I had to make multiple orders and change stores to finally get it. Got super excited to set it up as soon as I got it. Setup is very easy and quick start guide provided with the box is useful. There are no instructions for wireless setup though. I wish they provide complete user guide to setup wireless mirroring along with the product. Resolution is awesome. I connected my laptop with the projector using HDMI cable and streamed netflix and watched a movie. Can't complain about sound as I can't expect to have great given its only mono speaker. Felt very happy with the first experience. On second day, I noticed that there are couple of dead pixels on the screen and that made me drive crazy. Didnt expect new projector to have a dead pixel. Pros + Great picture quality + Vertical and horizontal keystone + great zoom Cons - Dead pixel - Average sound quality - Poor wireless support - No clear documentation on using Miracast - Bad support from BestBuy

Epson stepped up this is way better than the 3020
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Epson really stepped up their game on this, I owned a 3020 and said I would never buy another Epson product. However I had a warranty on my Optoma projector when it went out and I replaced it with the Epson 2150 because Best Buy had it for the same price as my Optoma. It ended up being a good thing because I planned to never buy another Epson. I only bought Epson because Best Buy has always done well by me and I can't say that for the manufacturer's customer service. The 2150 is a Great projector, you can't beat this for the price. It shows good in the daylight as well as night. It's just a better all around projector for the money.

Great picture quality love the 3 feature
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this projector yesterday and set it up outside with a large projection screen. I decided to try it with my 3D bluray player and it was great! It needed active 3D glasses but my Samsung sets worked, so I didn't have to buy the Epson glasses. I loved that the remote was easy to use and that it controlled the bluray player without having to be programmed. The settings were really straight forward and it was so easy to adjust the size, focus, and keystone of the picture. Great projector!

Epson projector
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This projector works amazing! Pricy but worth it! The picture is pretty clear! It definitely looks HD, can still see lines on a very white background scene but you have to pay close attention to notice it! Other than that the projector has been great for our family movie nights.

Bright and excellent projection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very delighted by this product. It's bright and givegives very cinematic view and feel. I play my sound bar with this and it feels just right. It supports wifi and 2 HDMI ports make it very handy. I can mirror using my laptop or phone without wires, sounds great. I reduced 1 start because when playing on mirror, sometimes the screen skips few frames. But I am not bothered because I am using HDMI and Chromecast with it.

Excellent projector
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from an old Epson 1024x768 (XGA) projector in basement room with moderate ambient light and a basic 100in pull-down screen. Picture quality is very good in the daytime and with a room light on. At night/darkened room it's excellent. In Eco mode the fan noise is almost non-existent, and in full-brightness mode can just be heard if there is no or low other noise. The built-in speaker is also not bad for casual TV watching if I don't want to turn on the surround sound receiver. Have not yet tried the 3D mode, since I don't have any 3D content or glasses, or wireless casting.

Good for home theater
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first night I set this thing up. I had to ask myself is the light on in the room. It was that bright. I then put the projector in Eco mode and it dimmed but still plenty bright even with the sun setting. Set up was easy. If you can avoid running audio thought the projector do it. It doesn't process HDMI audio too well from a PlayStation. Great picture zoom and focus are easy. This projector is aimed high. So if you put it behind you on the couch you will be propping it on the back to aim the picture back down into view.

Great video quality and easy to setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked it as my first home theatre projector for basement and remarkably pleased with the picture quality, ease of set up and compact size. It was suggested by Best Buy Home Theatre advisor during his home visit. Initially, I was quite skeptical about my ability to set it up myself. I was pleasantly surprised that I could quickly set it up. I used 5.1 speakers system, sony blueray player (for interface with internet and apps) and the wall as screen. I put it on a coffee table (no wall mount). It is working great for me. Go for it.

Amazing Projector
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I initially missed out on the $200 sale on this but it returned a week later. I was originally testing out a business projector for my home theater as a reference. 3300 Lumens and 1:10,000 contrast on that one. The difference to this one is incredible. Blacks are near black. not perfect but as close as one could expect from a projector. The latency is nowhere as much of an issue as some have stated concerns about. The fan is near silent and with any noise coming from your media, it will be completely unnoticed. Functions are great. Mounting flexibility is as well. I can not recommend this one enough. At $900 it’s an amazing buy. At $700, it’s a steAl!
