The Epson Home Cinema 2150 is setting the benchmark for home cinema projectors. Setup is amazingly simple and intuitive. Connect the power supply, connect the host device (via HDMI, VGA, MHL, or Miracast), turn on the projector, slide the lens cover out of the way, position the projection image so the image is square on the projection screen, and you're ready to see your movie come to life as if you are at the theater. The aforementioned set up was quick; it took me less than 10 minutes. I may never go back to watching movies and programming using my television anymore after using the Epson 2150. It was a visual delight to see such image clarity at full HD 1080p on such a large projection. The images are vivid and detailed, colors are accurately reproduced, and bright even in ECO mode. I did not have to perform any color calibration; the Epson 2150 default settings are very good right of the box. The 10W mono speaker is surprisingly decent. I thought it was going to sound tinny, but it did not. However, for best audio results, I would recommend an external speaker set up. There is a 3.5mm output jack at the back of the projector to connect audio devices. My smartphone has Miracast, and it was just awesome to be able to mirror the smartphone screen contents on a big screen projector. I also want to point out that the Epson Home Cinema 2150 supports streaming devices such as Chromecast, Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV. There is also no reason to watch a movie in the theater again! With the Epson Home Cinema 2150, I get to enjoy all that in the comfort of my home, but without any of the annoyances of being in a movie theater. I can't think of anything negative to point out about the projector other than the fact that it may make you more of a couch potato. I highly recommend the projector. It is definitely worth the money.

It displays well. Even if day time, I can see its display well. However, whenever I used the Samsung mobile smart view, the connection is not good. If Wifi turns on, it is even worse. Suddenly, it is disconnected & I have to re-connect it often.

Wow! Excellent projector! AND HAS 3D!

Let me just start by stating that this projector IS 3D ready! I know it is listed in the product specifications, but it is not listed anywhere in the product title or "product features" section. I know 3D is being phased out for 4K nowadays, but to me and many others who still LOVE 3D, this is a nice thing to know about without having to drill all the way down into specifications. This is 3D ready meaning just like a 3D ready TV, you still will need a 3D blu ray player connected to it, a pair of 3D glasses, AND of course a 3D blu ray disc. Eventually this will be mounted on the ceiling in a mancave, but for now for review purposes, i set it up about 10 feet from a white wall. I do not have a screen to project on. Even so, using the wall, wow what a picture! I hooked up my 3D blu ray player via HDMI to the projector HDMI 2 port, and am impressed with the level of picture quality and brightness of the image. Even with a decent amount of natural light coming through my windows at 4pm. A projector like this comes highly recommended, and for the price point with the amount of features you get, including wireless casting, you can't beat it. Very much recommended!

A little over a month of owning this projector and it has failed. Tried to turn it on and after about a minute I get a flashing lamp light. Going to contact support to see if they will remedy the situation. I had an Acer for 6 years before it failed. Probably will not buy another Epson branded projector again.

Well, I really liked this product at first but after less than two days of usage it starts smoking and emitting a terrible smell like burning plastic everytime I turn it on. Of course I just missed the window to return it. I'm really frustrated and disappointed. I guess I'll try to call the company but I'm not sure how helpful that's gonna be. Also they collected 90$ for returns fee for defective product. So don't buy this item.

There are few words that I can put together to adequately describe how excellent this projector is. The picture quality is phenomenal, even in a relatively bright environment. I have used it against a neutral colored wall as well as against a 120" outdoor screen and have been blown away in both cases. Setup is a breeze yet there are plenty of easy ways to tweak and get the most out of your projector. The sound from the built in speaker leave a bit to be desired but I imagine it will only be used sparingly in the majority of use cases. If you are considering a projector for indoor or outdoor movie nights, sports watch parties, or simply to replace a TV, you should ABSOLUTELY consider this projector. You will NOT be dissapointed.
