Mich better then my 1080p optima dlp projector. I took out the streaming stick and plugged into my receiver so i could get sound out all my speakers and connected the hdmi port to the home port so i didnt have to change the input every time I turned the projector on

No Gaming fetures
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Description says gaming projector but I’m not seeing it. There are no gaming feature is in the menu system to turn on so when buying this projector I thought I’d get 1080 P at 120 Hz but I have yet to see that Xbox shows that there’s a lot of exes saying that the projector does not support 120 Hz. May return it 4k gaming is supported at 60 frames. Just make sure you turn on hlg and change from cinema mode to game that is hidden way way in the settings. You can get good picture and projector could be better. Idk if i would advertise as a gaming projector if you cant get features you promoted to work on this projector. Btw it is plenty bright about 2800L whicj breaks down to about 750 nits so hdr is Great.

Basic projector
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.29 days after I purchase this projector , Best Buy lower the prices by $100 and did not honor price refund. also the projector just like the epson 2100. as soon as warranty done the bulb will pop! Will definitely look for a LASER upgrade projector and definitely not with Best Buy. no customer service...do not like the remotes that came with this projector and does not adjust screen as stated. we have to manually do it. I regret the purchase.

strong performing budget projector
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the good: - picture quality - Probably the biggest draw of this projector in my opinion, the picture quality at this price point is outstanding. 4k media from either included Android TV or via hdmi connected Apple TV looks quite good. At 2800 lumens you're certainly not suffering for brightness, and although it won't compete with its big brothers in terms of contrast and black levels, for big screen lovers on a budget, this should fit the bill quite nicely. - on board android tv - technically not "on board", rather included via a dongle connected to a second hdmi port, covered by the projector housing. - small form factor - Relatively small, quiet, and unobtrusive. - lens shift and keystone adjustment (although using these features does affect picture quality to a certain degree) - Gaming - Some others have reported negative experiences gaming, but I saw no issues. I connected my PS5 and was up and running immediately. SDR gaming is good if not great, although to get higher refresh rates you do have to move to 1080p. For some this won't be an issue, for others it will be a deal breaker. the bad: - HDR gaming - I found that HDR gaming to be a bit lacking in color depth and detail, which is surprising considering the 2800 lumens this projector is capable of. The picture appeared washed out in darker scenes but better in brighter ones. - contrast ratio/black levels - I think these are the 2 main culprits of my negative HDR gaming experience. Not so noticeable for media viewing (TV and movies, etc.), gaming seemed to highlight these as weaknesses. - simplified (lack of?) menu settings - The epson settings menu is a substantially smaller version of the typical menu set, and I found no gaming-centric settings. misc: - remote control angle -The remote control here is a bit confusing. You have to pair it via bluetooth (which I think actually pairs it to the Android TV module) but then the projector portion of it seems to be RF, with a very small port on the projector. The result is basically you can hold the remote in any orientation for Android TV, but to control the projector itself (settings, input change, etc.) you have to point it *directly* at the RF port. This took some time to figure out. I happened to have an Epson remote for another projector and it worked with a significantly within a significantly wider field. Not a huge deal. - manual lens adjustment - Again, not a huge deal for most, but something to consider if the projector is mounted on the ceiling. - lamp based projector - Has a relatively short lifespan (4500-7500 hours) , especially when compared to higher end laser projectors. - built in "speaker" - This speaker seems unnecessary, potentially useful for maybe a conference room setting? I'm not really sure. You certainly would not use it in a home viewing setting. overall: This little projector is by no means Epson's top of the line offering, but that being said it still manages to perform well above its price point. Picture quality for media is quite good, crisp and with good depth of color, but gaming in HDR suffers a bit. Contrast and black levels could be better, but for this price it is a strong contender. 4 stars.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been searching for a projector to replace my old projector. This was valued correctly and worked exactly for what i needed. The LUMENS is correct for the simulated 4K, and i i decided to get an xbox to use the 1080P 120hz. Worked like a charm.
