Not a gaming projector
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First one had a burnt out pixel. Warranty worked and replaced easy enough. Localized focusing is terrible. We have it at the correct distance for the screen size and if you dial in the top half, the bottom half is blurry. If you make the middle perfect, the top and bottom are a little blurry. This same issue was on the first one we warrantied, so it's not a one-off thing. Just bad focusing. THIS IS NOT A GAMING PROJECTOR. No matter what they say. It does do 4k but not at HDR. Any self respecting gamer needs to be shooting for 4k HDR. I was hoping the tech on projectors hard trickled down enough for a resonable priced gaming projector but alas, save your money and get a nicer laser 4k HDR projector with a 120hz, if you can find out. Or just get a TV. You can get get 4k HDR 240hz for little more than this projector. Now for games I give this a 1 star. But for movies, I think it's probably great for the average consumer. Movie and TV resolution is fine. Still wouldn't put it in HDR as you lose your refresh rate and the blacks this thing makes are horrible. A regretful purchase. It's cool to have a projector but I wish I would've saved for a laser or just bought an 85" 4k HDR 240hz TV. Oh, also, it's absolutely loud af. It also has very bad controls.

Excellent Budget friendly 4k projector.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was sceptical at first to buy this projector based on the reviews of wash out blacks or not enough details in dark scenery. However, I still went ahead and purchased based on budget. Honestly, yes in some movies the blacks look a little washed out but once you get some tweaking done, this projector shines. The colours are amazingly bright even in a lit room your still able to have a bright enough screen. Tweaking the 2350 projector does take a little effort to get it just right but you wont regret it. Oh! The audio is ok for presentation purpose and so I would recommend getting a soundbar or hook it up to some external speakers.

Bright, clear, almost 4k, HDR, Lens Shift,
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The least expensive Epson 4k Pixel shifter, with 4 million on-screen pixels it's hard to distinguished at a distance. It's smaller and lighter then the Epson 3800 and half the price. The 2350 will work nicely in a living room setup with some ambient light. The fan noise is low when the light output is set to low and is very bright on a 100" screen. The only downside is the weaker contrast ratio, you will need to pay more for better black levels.

Lacks versatility
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice picture with plenty of brightness for my theater (in the basement) I am replacing an old (2011) ViewSonic HD projector. The Epson is missing all the RCA composite video and SVHS connections and the ability to show 4:3 format videos. All my old tapes, Laserdiscs and so forth are now truly obsolete. The Epson is not as versatile as the old ViewSonic.
