Great color, brightness, contrast. Perfectly focusing the 3800 can be a bit frustrating, however. If you want a 4k projector, and still want to view legacy 3D content, there are fewer and fewer projectors to choose from. This one fits the bill. As a bonus, it even uses my old 3D glasses from the Epson Home Cinema 2030 I replaced it for.

This projector is awesome, clear image on HD (1080p) as well as 4K. It is also projecting very good image when there is light on the room. It has a lot of functionalities that can help you to setup image you want.

Great, me and my family love using this for our movie nights, with a good soundbar/ speaker setup we were able to watch movies in our backyard.

Exactly what I wanted. We set up a 14’6” wide by 18’ deep theater room and this unit was perfectly placed and adjusted at about 15’-16’ back centered. Picture is crisp and hooked up well with my Denon receiver

I was skeptical at first, but this projector did not disappoint. Screen size and focus is easily adjustable. Picture is extremely clear and the speaker inside the projector is not great but much better than I expected. I do wish it had built in smart TVs apps.

Just upgraded from my 15 yo Mitsubishi projector. This will give you as close to 4k as you can for the price

Great picture and very easy setup best at this price range

We have all seen many projector’s that have a tv grainy look to them but this one does not. HD is crystal clear, the sound is great as well. I’ve had people over and taken this to a few houses and everyone is amazed at the quality.

I had an Epson HC2150 for 3 years before I bought this as an upgrade. WOW! Side by side there was for sure a difference. If brightness is a key need for you then this the 3800 is for you. Do not forget you need a 4k HDMI cord with your 4k media device.

I see all of these great reviews but I am having major problems with uneven focus. The middle can get focus but once you do that the corners are out of focus, especially for me the left hand side. I see around with reviews elsewhere others have had this issue as well and never received a good unit. So have others received units without uneven focus or are you just ok with it?

This is my 3rd Epson projector, all have been top notch. This is the first 4K projector and it definitely lives up to the billing.

I upgraded from an Optoma GT1080. This is an excellent projector. Nice clarity with it's "4k" 3LCD tech. Super happy with the brightness even in a room with ambient light. Great device. No issues syncing up at full HDR mode with a good quality cable.

Great picture. Good black levels. I use this to watch movies and play video games. Flyid picture and low input lag. Great upgrade for my home theater.

Not a bright as I had hoped for, I doubt you would see anything at all outside unless you had a very small screen. Probably fine for outside at night for 20 people.

We purchased the projector as an upgrade to our old projector. It provides a clear, crisp picture for our online viewers and our inhouse viewers.

This is amazing I had the 2250 and it was good and didn’t think it can get any better. I tired this 3800 and wow it’s a huge difference. Would totally recommend this even for the price

Recently purchased this Epson 4K projector. Prior to this purchase, I was using a Epson HD projector. OMG. What a difference! Colors, detail are terrific. Great value for the money. I would definitely recommend this product.

I upgraded from an older model projector of the same brand. The picture quality is amazing, 4k option really brings out the detail in the picture. This projector also has a tone of features and options to fine tune your viewing experience.
