Impressive performance, even in a fairly light roo

Replaced Sony 900 series TV, so lost a little image quality but the trade off for screen size is worth it (projecting onto 100" fixed screen). I paired it up with a Sennheiser Ambeo soundbar and a FireStick 4k source.

Some blur in corners when using from a distance(19ft) from , which is surprising from such an expensive projector but still within recommendation technically

I feel I prefer the look of DLP. I don’t like how Epson claims this is a 4K projector when is actually only able to produce 4.1 million pixels as opposed to DLP 4K projector able to produce 8.3 million. Ok projector, just not worth the price.

But, it was huge and loud and had slow response to signal changes. And, most annoying was the illumination that appeared outside of the picture. When using vertical keystone, a huge trapezoid outlined the image. Also, 99% of the movies I watch aren’t 4k UHD. So, they look the same as on my $700 1080p projector. I returned it, and I’ll wait for something better in a few years.

I have had it for a couple weeks now and have nothing but great things to say about it. Used it for gaming a couple times as well without a noticeable lag on a Xbox or PS4.
