It is not in any way a 4k projector. Some how they believe that having two 1080P projectors in one unit makes it a 4k. You do need 2 projectors if you want to use the 3d option however two 1080p's ad up to 2160p not 4k. It does play UHD movies real nice though.

We installed it a month ago. Last week it started making a loud fan noise. Days after end of return period. Buyer beware.
