Just upgraded from my 1080P projector to this epson 3800 4K and it is a BIG difference. Picture is bright and image in 4K is outstanding. If u are looking to upgrade this projector will not disappoint. Even though it is not a true 4K and uses pixel shifting by doubling the 1080p the picture is amazing. The setup is extremely simple was up and running within an hour using the picture adjustments. I am very happy to have purchased this item and would highly recommend it if ur in the market for a new projector

Been playing video games and watching movies on this project for 18 months. Still shines bright and projects a great picture on off white wall. Gaming and animated movies are incredible views.

Great picture and easy to manage. The guys where very informative on showing me how to use it.

My husband is a fanatic with sports , and the resolution on this is amazing . He watches sports here now instead of the LG TV. He likes how you can make the screen bigger when you push it at a distance so the view is amazing . Definitely worth the money , you won’t regret .

Replaced an older projector with this and was able to discard the old sound system also. great projector

Picture is excellent - very bright even at 110" screen. Setup was straight forward. 2 things to consider with this unit: 1) the fan is noisy - much noisier than my previous Epson projector. You can tune it out (like white noise) at moderate/high volume scenes, but at lower volumes not so much. 2) It kicks out a lot of heat which I guess is the trade=off for the brightness. I'm going to enclose the unit in a box that vents to the outside in the hopes of solving both problems.

So far so good. We upgraded from an Older Epson pro lite and this new projector is light years better. Great picture, easy setup.

This is my first projector and so far it has been worth every penny. It is super easy to use and has an excellent picture right out of the box.

Love it. If you miss going to the movie theatre, This is for you. Very easy to use. Bright. I bought a 4K BluRay to go with it

Fabulous projector! Worth every penny, awesome picture, 3D is great. Distance is 11 1/2 feet from screen and works perfectly. Very happy with this purchase! If placing this unit more than 25' from your source make sure you by an optical "one direction" HDMI cable. Under 25' can use most any HDMI cable. After purchasing 2 HDMI 40' cables I contacted Epson and got this information. Fortunately I was able to return the cables I purchased.

This projector is top quality in day or night settings. If you have a projector screen i suggest projecting from the back to increase the contrast of colors!!! So happy with my purchase and im sure you will be too.

Eight years ago, I started out with an Epson 3020, then upgraded to a 5040 four years later. Four more years later I just bought this Epson 3800. Right out of the box it has a much brighter and detailed picture than the 5040 ever did, and it's $1,000 cheaper. Kudos to Epson for finally giving us more than we paid for. The picture is so good, that I find myself watching the commercials even on shows that I DVR. This is an amazing projector....you won't be sorry.

This is an excellent projector! Had one already but i damaged it so i went back to best buy and bought an exact duplicate! I love it!

I upgraded my theater room equipment after enjoying the previous system for 20 years. I purchased a 4K Projector and state of the art Denon 9.1 Surround System. The projector produces an amazing picture on the theater screen, ceiling mounted 14' from the screen. The Denon system automatically finds the correct input (Blue-Ray, DVD, Spotify, etc.) and Sound support (Dolby, Dolby+, Atmos, 5.1, 9.1, etc.)
