Definitely has lasted a while with great quality. I use it for a restaurant so it’s turned on for at least 10hrs each day. I’ve had it for at least 1 1/2 years.

I am very pleased witb the quality of the video produced by the Epson 3800 in both day light in a room with curtains open and at night with lights off its quality almost rivals our 77" LG oled with out a proper screen yet just a matte white wall.

What a great projector! My Mitsubishi from 12 years ago finally gave out (4 bulb changes). It was a 1080i but needed to be dark to be able to really enjoy video games and movies . With a picture window and room darkening curtains it worked out well. Since replacing with this Epson it's literally night and day difference. The bright light from outside doesn't bother the picture you can watch movies without drawing the curtains closed . The color richness of this 4k projector is amazing for video games also . The picture attached is from my over head set-up..from roughly 13 foot away from the way projector screen.

I’m very much pleased with this projector. initially the settings were standard and it took me sometime to calibrate it . But once it was down the picture looked so good that it made me feel like a theatre . Kids enjoy watching their favorite animated movies .. Worth the purchase . Would definitely recommend .

If you are looking for a 4k gaming projector your options are very limited. You have this projector, the Epson 5050/6050 (for low light environments), and then several $10-30k options. If you want a projector with low inpt lag (<30ms), 3000 lumens, and 4k HDR, this is the only option you currently have under $10k. I'm loving it, the color representation could be better, but unless you're coming from an OLED you won't even notice. Fantastic value.

Got this to replace my old Sanyo Z2000. Quality, sharpness, and brightness of this compared to my old projector is so much better. Installation is easy. I used my old mount and because of the adjustibilty of the lens up/down/left/right. It only took a few minutes. I purchased some 3d glasses and works great on my 100+ inch screen. Got it on sale for $1500

Decent black levels. HDR options is excellent. Great black levels on cinegrey 5d screen but limits hdr steps. High gain silver screen I gives great hdr with slight less black levels at the expense of sparkles on bright scenes. Eco mode lamp still looks great. Great pic on low level.

I upgraded from the Epson 2150 and this projector blows it away. Excellent picture with a giant size, if you are on the fence for one of these don't wait just go for it you will not regret it. I am running a 165" with this projector and really give that theater experience.

Great projector, amazing picture quality and brightness. Works well even in daytime. Felt silly not realizing that both zoom and focus are manually adjusted by two rings around the lens, but setup was otherwise simple. Set up in a cabinet 21' from the projector screen (156").
