What a great projector!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently took a job in a city away from my family. Instead of buying a new tv and having to pay for new cable service, I got this projector and connect my phone or laptop to it to project movies and shows from my home DVR on the wall of the room I rent while I am away. I must say that this projector is amazing!! It is bright and clear, even with the light in the room on!! It has inputs for USB, VGA, HDMI, and RCA. I bought a lightning to HDMI adapter for my iPhone and able to connect my iPhone to it! This is huge for me as it allows me to watch my DVR shows away from home. For Netflix, I use my laptop via a USB cable. It would be nice if it came with a carrying case as I am doing a fair amount of travelling with it. That being said, it is lightweight and very easy to use. It is pretty much plug and play. There are very little adjustments that need to be made. It truly is a great projector. I highly recommend.

Great Home Theater Projector for the Price
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first projector, and I am pretty satisfied with the product for what it is. I used this to replace a 1080p DLP 50” screen TV. I also purchased a 110” projector screen for viewing, which I would recommend over a bare wall. Setup The setup was pretty straightforward. I plugged a Blu-ray player into a receiver and the receiver into the projector using an HDMI cable, and was ready to go. There is a quick-start guide, which is pretty easy to follow. The picture adjusts itself depending on where the projector is placed and allows for manual adjustments if necessary. The projector can even be placed in the corner of the room and adjusted to display a perfect picture. I was disappointed to find you must buy a Wi-Fi adapter in order to use this projector wirelessly. The adapter would also plug into the USB type A port, which would prevent it from being used for anything else. I was also disappointed that there is only one HDMI port. If you choose to purchase the Wi-Fi adapter, there is an easy-to-use app you can download on your phone. I would have preferred two HDMI ports, one for a Blu-ray player and one for Google Chromecast. Picture/Sound I should state that I used this projector in a windowless basement, so I cannot tell you from experience how window light will affect the brightness of the picture. However, the picture is pretty amazing for being 720p. The picture quality is definitely not as crisp as my 1080p TV, but it is way better than any other 720p TV I have seen. The internal speakers are clear, but are not that loud. A separate speaker system and receiver is required to make a home theater complete. Pros Great quality for the price Picture auto-adjusts Bright picture Cons Only one HDMI port and USB type A and type B ports No Wi-Fi included I recommend the projector since it projects a bright, clear picture at a great price point. I am not really sure if a pricier unit would make it worth the extra money, since this projector performed so well.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PHONES, POOR RETURN POLICY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this projector for my husband's birthday and after trying to use it with our phones and computers, realized it was not compatible. I was disappointed and after gifting it to my husband, went to return it in-store. The 15 day return policy had passed and the store told me I could not return it, even for store credit. Now I am stuck with a projector that doesn't work and Best Buy will not accept the return. Very disappointed in this purchase and the customer service.

Fantastic Home Theater projector
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This easy to set up projector will be a great addition to anyone’s home theater set up. The price point is fantastic and the quality picture and features you get for the money can’t be beat. Yes, you can get a 1080P projector but with the 3,300 lumens and three lcd’s in this projector, the 720P picture is OUTSTANDING. Ideally you would be projecting this on a proper screen but this will work even on a white painted wall although for best pic a screen is optimal. With keystone adjustments and built in test patterns it’s easy to get the picture at its best. Other cool things this does is allow for you to operate in a split screen mode to view your PC info and Video at the same time which is a great feature. Displaying from about a 33inch picture to as large as 320 inches give you versatility and a great wow factor when looking at the 300+ inch images. If you are looking for a projector that can be your home theater workhorse or even be multi purpose to use for typical PowerPoint presentations and Home Theater this is your go to projector. Great job Epson!

Great Picture and Easy Setup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Epson 760HD projector fit the bill when it came to easy of setup and use as well as picture quality. I connected it to both an HD DVD player as well as my cable box and was impressed with the quality of and brightness of the picture. The picture was crisp and sharp with very little adjustment. The remote was very fucntional and easy to use. At this price level, this is a quality projector for everyday viewing needs.

Outdoor movie night!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this so that I could have some outdoor movie time with my family and the neighbors. We haven't gotten the opportunity to try it out much, but it's worked great so far. For now, we are using the neighbors white vinyl siding for a "screen", but I intend to pick up one of the inflatable outdoor screens before too long. The picture quality is very good. It's hard to believe that this is only a 720p projector. The picture is quite bright. The built-in speakers work pretty well, but I will eventually plug into a larger scale system once I get everything wired (I already have outdoor speakers running from my indoor receiver). I would have liked to have more connection options so that I could use my Dell laptop with it using cables I already had (DisplayPort), but HDMI is more common and I can always use an adapter cable. Overall, a fantastic projector that my family seems to love!

Perfect for backyard theater
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this projector for outdoor movie parties in my backyard. I just use a white sheet as a screen, and the picture looks great. Would likely look even better on a "real" screen but why complicate things? The colors are great and vivid, the contrast is pretty good considering the projector's price and my bed sheet screen, and it's easy to set up and use. I feed it a signal from my Windows 10 laptop via HDMI and it "just works" without configuration hassle. The built-in speaker is OK and better than nothing but routing the sound through from your source to a $30 set of speakers or a decent Bluetooth speaker is much better. Overall I really like his projector and the way it works.

Good Projector
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A very good projector that will take a lot of learning to use it well. Inputs can be Component video, RCA video, HDMI, and USB. With an optional wireless LAN Module, the connection can even be wireless. Documentation is very good with a Support Web Page, a printed, illustrated Quick Setup (15 page folder), and a 204 page User Guide (PDF). Warranty is two years on the Projector and 90 days on the Lamp. I connected it to a Windows and Android device with a HDMI cable and adapters and connection was automatic. I do not have a Apple adapter so I could not try it, but it should work well there too. It is quite complicated to use and you will need to spend a lot of time to work it well. To illustrate this, there are 37 buttons on the remote. It delivers a good picture and acceptable sound. You can use a set of powered speakers if the sound is not loud enough for you. Video format accepted is only .AVI. No .MOV or .MP4. Picture format is more universal and even has a slide show feature.

Not Just a Projector
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although unfamiliar with using a projector (beyond the classroom or for business), I was nonetheless fascinated by the possibilities of other uses, and curious as to the advancements in technology for this type of device. I am familiar with the Epson brand, primarily for printers/scanners, several models of which I’ve owned. However, this Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 760HD 720p 3LCD Projector impressed me with its versatility, quality, and performance. This projector is more than simply a device for professional use. It can also be used for home cinema, as an alternative method for viewing entertainment content. Such as - in place of an actual TV. Yes. That’s right. Instead. Also, outside for fun on family movie night, kids sleepovers, holiday visual displays, etc. I tried the projector out with both my PC and PS4. Both performed beautifully. The instruction guide even states this projector can also be used with mobile media devices (smartphones/tablets) that support a particular cable/port connection. The quick setup instructions explain the various connections which are possible, and clearly state the necessary cables required, along with highlighting specific features. Of course, there is a remote control with easy-to-understand buttons which mimic several of the buttons on the top of the projector itself. The on-screen menu options are simple to navigate, allowing you to fine tune your settings. The projector has its own built-in speaker, which surprisingly, isn’t half bad. Though if you did have this machine set up outside or in a home cinema room, you might want to connect an external speaker. Picture quality - even though this model is “only” 760HD 720p - was pretty darn good too. There are quite a few ways to adjust the image, beyond the height adjustment ‘foot’ or physical placement of the projector. As with any type of projector, this Epson device puts out a bit of heat, so make sure the vent is unobstructed, and allow it to cool down before storing it away. All in all, I’m thoroughly enjoying my Epson PowerLite Home Cinema Projector. If you are in the market for such a device, this one is certainly worth a look.

Great picture even for 720p
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was afraid that a 720p projector would lag behind in picture quality. Especially, with 4K beginning to dominate the TV space. However, this projector has a great picture, is lightweight for easy movement, and easy to setup. We used it for a family movie night, and you don’t find yourself questioning the picture resolution. Just make sure you have a good projector screen, and you’ll be ready to have a family cinema night. Better yet, use it for a game on your Xbox or PS4. I would recommend this projector for the quality and price. It’s not the newest 4K, but for it’s still HD.

Bad Quality
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought this would be ok for a small conference room, but letters from only 6 feet were unreadable. Maybe it would be ok for movies, but it seems you could get a TV that is close to the same projection size with better clarity for just a bit more money.

A Quality Projector
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.EPSON - PowerLite Home Cinema 760HD 720p 3LCD Projector can do everything that is claimed of it. I used my Xbox One and Xbox 360, along with my desktop computer to test out the visuals of the EPSON - PowerLite Home Cinema 760HD 720p 3LCD Projector. The instructions are simple to read and after a short period of time, I had basic understanding of how to use the remote control and the projector buttons to operate certain functions. The picture is bright, clear, and very sharp. There are controls to make adjustments to the projected image. There is no bleeding of colors or dragging of images, by use of the projector. As a projector, it does create heat, but I do hear an exhaust fan inside. It has plugs for connecting every mainstream video device, to get full family usage from it. The volume is decent enough to fill an average size room. There is also a CD for viewing the full manual and registration of the projector. This is a great addition to any home audio/video entertainment setup.

Excellent 720p Projector. Amazing Picture Quality.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a cost effective projector for loft in my house with addition to Epson 5030UB in living room. I got Epson Home Cinema 760HD due to the fact that it has 3,300 lumens of color / white brightness and it will perfectly fit for my needs in a bright loft in second floor. Packing was excellent and projector size is very small compared to 5030UB. Setup is very easy as always with Epson projectors. I have connected the HDMI with my receiver and played one movie from Netflix. I was stunned with the quality and color / white brightness of this projector. It is equally good as 1080P HD projector in terms of quality with less price. This projector supports up to 300" and it will connect easily with Blu-ray, gaming or streaming devices via HDMI. I would suggest to connect with receiver as it has only one HDMI Input. There are other inputs like VGA, HDMI, USB and S-Video cable. It comes with built-in-speaker and dynamic contrast up to 15,000:1. It supports Vertical Keystone Auto +/- 30º and Horizontal Keystone Manual +/- 30º to place the projector virtually anywhere. It came with a remote to control the settings. The resolution of this projector is 720p (1280x800) and picture quality is amazing. You will have a great home theater experience with this projector and not break the bank to make it happen.

Not just for movies
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. On occasion I have organized yearly planning meeting lock-ins with Boy Scouts. We'll show up on a Friday evening, order pizzas, run through the next year's program planning and then break out ice cream, gaming consoles, board games, guitars, you name it, whatever the kids like to share. So the evening typically starts off with planning slide presentations from a laptop and then, when business is done, they shift to video console games and eventually in the wee hours of the morning and the pizza coma starts we'll fire up a movie and the kids will grab some popcorn and chill, eventually drift off for a quick nap before sunrise. I needed a projector that could handle just about anything I throw at it. The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 760HD is a 720p high definition projector supporting both 4:3 and 16:9 picture formats making it suitable for a great all purpose tool. With 3300 lumen output with a 15000:1 dynamic contrast the picture was bright and crisp. We watched Rogue One with the picture at least 120" diagonal and the 720p picture was crystal clear with high definition. Epson claims up to 300" with 720p resolution but due to space limitations I was unable to verify. There are 3 different video input ports: Composite, VGA and HDMI so you should be able to connect just about anything, even older consoles. It will even support streaming devices like the nVidia Shield TV, Apple TV, Chromecast. It has the typical adjustment features like front height adjustment, focus, zoom, slider keystone adustment and sliding lense cover (black out). But it does have Quick Corner which allows you to adjust each corner of the image separately to fine tune the image. A few features on my wish list but would probably bump the price point: Bluetooth (especially for audio) and direct casting from tablets or smartphones. Pros: +Decent price point for feature set +Bright image +Easy to use +Multiple input formats +Built in speaker (with caveat, see cons) +Size and weight are acceptable (not bulky and heavy) Cons: -Does not come with a carrying bag or case. An optional soft case is available from Epson but I'd go with a third party hard case with internal foam padding, like Pelican. -Video cables are not provided with the projector so be prepared. -While the speaker does an okay job it will not fill a room and not give you that immersive sound that are desired for action movies or video games. It would greatly benefit from either an audio jack to plug in external speakers or Bluetooth.

Projector that packs a punch!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first projector I’ve ever owned so I was pretty excited about getting it. Opening it up and taking it out of the box I noticed it was pretty light in hand and looks of quality. It weighs a little over 5lbs. So I imagine it wouldn’t be hard to mount anywhere. The bulbs are rated 3300 lumens of color brightness and 3300 lumens of white brightness. Epson claims the bulb has up to 10,000 hours of lamplife in Eco mode and 6,000 in normal mode. On the backside the projector has a USB-A port, USB-B port, RCA ports, VGA port, and and HDMI port. The fan noise isn’t too bad and is barely noticeable when the audio is playing. Now the image, this thing is super clear! It’s rated 720p but looks like it’s 1080p, you can hardly tell the difference. I’ve tried it on my Xbox One and OMG i don’t think I’ll be buying a bigger tv for it because of this projector! Images are in focus and the colors are amazingly bright and vibrant. It does have a built in speaker that is decent but I will soon hook it up to my surround sound so who needs it. It also comes with a remote, some batteries and a power cable. I’ve also tried it on my roku box and it works great watching Netflix and other streaming movies. I can’t wait to get this thing mounted on the ceiling and have my friends over to watch some sports. Overall the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 760HD 720P 3LCD Projector delivers an awesome picture in a quality package, I recommend.
