Customers are saying
Customers commend the Home Cinema 880 projector for its excellent picture quality, brightness, and ease of setup. Many found the projector easy to use and affordable, while some noted that the fan can be noisy and that it only has one HDMI input. A few users also mentioned challenges with the zoom and focus features. Overall, the positive feedback on image quality and ease of use outweighs the negative comments regarding the limitations of the HDMI ports and some minor setup adjustments.

User friendly excellent product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like it very much. User friendly (had to return a projector to Amazon that wasn't). Bright enough that you could watch in the daytime. Colors better than what I see on my computer screen. Love the control on my remote that allows me to expand the picture. Plug in my own speakers. Gives close to a theater experience.

Great till the bulb lasts
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this projector in late Nov 2021 and used the initial couple of days to watch movies, which were fun given the clarity and brightness this projector provided. The next couple of uses were for powerpoint presentations. All of a sudden in late May the Lamp light turned orange and there was no display. Spoke to Epson customer care and they said the lamp might have died (after using for less than 100hrs). Unfortunately the lamp comes with only 90 days warranty. So the fun was short lived and now awaiting for a new lamp. I would definitely recommend for the brightness and sharpness but wouldn't recommend for how short the bulb life was.

Easy to use but could use a mechanical zoom.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and picture is crisp and clear, but only having the "e" zoom leaves and odd blank projected area around the outside of the screen. Not the highest end projector but works well.

Fun while it lasted.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were happy with it for the the 1.75 years that we’ve had it. However, we have used it on fewer than 10 occasions and of course now that the warrantee is expired the machine is malfunctioning. We get flickering video or no video at all. Perhaps it’s the lamp but the lamp is expensive and should not be going bad with only a few uses. We’ll have to uninstall the projector and take it to an Epson service center to diagnose the problem. We’ll see what it costs to remedy this. Disappointing.

Good Projector, No carry case or bag.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Monitor works great. Didn't come with any kind of case or carry bag. I have to use the box and styrofoam as the carry case. Not impressed by that. I buy these for PowerPoint and Education stuff at work so mobility would be nice. Otherwise, the product is great. Bright screen. Clear display. Able to read fine print on a displayed screen.

Good for indoor daylight time, not outdoor though
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used in an open garage space and it showed well but also used in an outdoor space on a cloudy day with a pop up canopy covering the screen - almost impossible to see the video.

Defective Unit, breaks down in 2 months.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product around December 2022. I started using it may be last week of January and it stopped working yesterday. The fan started making loud noise and had no projection. Since it was not returnable, i had to call epson. They are not ready to replace it or give me an extended warranty but sending out a lamp. Imagine paying $600 and ending up with a defective product that breaks down with 6 hrs or less usage. That gives no comfort. Epson knows they have a defective product and they offers me extended coverage at a cost Please watch out before anyone buys it.

Work or Entertainment, this one is worth it!

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing quality – good for a short throw, but also has the range and power to project a great picture from further away if needed. Really happy with the brightness – we use it outdoors, so anytime at dusk or later is dark enough to see well.

Want to watch movies in the back yard this summer?
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Epson Home Cinema 1080p 3 LCD Projector is basically an easy plug n play piece of equipment. It arrived within two days and was very well packed and just exactly everything the manufacturer said it would be. I look forward to many uses.

Perfect
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was the cheapest 1080p projector that I could find and let me tell ya. It's real nice. Kinda weird that it doesn't have an optical zoom, its only digital, BUT I haven't actually had any problems with it so would recommend.

Epson 880
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great Projector but should have more features such as Bluetooth. Plugging in speakers is just a mess. Fan is a little loud but can deal with it. Picture I think is very nice for the small game room that I use it on, will try to use it outside and see it does.

Very Bright
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is very bright! I ended up upgrading to the 3800 for better colors and 4k streaming but if that's out of your price range this will do just fine. I used it temporarily on a 180" screen outdoors and it performed well.
