I bought one on Amazon- some off brand. And mannnn... you get what you pay for. Holy cow.. the difference is more than just night and day.

This projector has good video High Def quality for a lower level priced projector. Easy to hook up and good directions for matching to home.

Great projector for the price. Only issues I've had with it so far is that the instructions are confusing when it comes to USB support.

Excellent projector for 1080p display. We use for indoor and outdoor movies and shows. It's small enough to handle easily.

I had the projector about 3 weeks prior to returning it with a $75 restocking fee. My old projector was a Optima hd142x which since has been discontinued. I exchanged the Epson for the Optima hd146x which is the newer model of my old projector. There is a difference between DLP and LCD. The Epson Home Cinema 880 is a LCD which was noisy when it was on and the bulb would dim completely black where a commercial would be in a TV show. Also the colors would constantly dim so dark scenes were even darker. The Epson was also so bright the light of the lamp extended beyond my screen which was a little distracting and lit up the whole room. The Epson worked well for gaming!

Great projector for the price, has an audio out so you can hook up a sound bar with the correct adapter.

You can read about all of the specs and numbers in the description. Instead, I’m going to talk about my experiences with this projector. I got this projector to replace another one mainly for outdoor use and to take for travel (parties, family events, etc.). I was a little worried when I pulled it out and how lightweight it was. But after looking it over and using it, I can tell you it is well constructed. This thing is simple to use! Plug and play for HDMI connections. Capable of receiving casts from devices. An auxiliary out for external speakers. It met all of my needs with that. I do wish it had Bluetooth capabilities for the speakers, but I had a spare Bluetooth transmitter sitting around. I connected it to the Aux. Out and boom! Bluetooth! The best feature was the digital zoom. No more moving the projector back and forth until you find the sweet spot for screen size. For that alone, I would give this device five stars. As for quality of picture and brightness, it was top notch! Even in daylight the picture was viewable as long as you have an opaque backing to the screen. The picture was able to be focused to a crisp, clear quality. One con to this, and I think it was a big overlook on Epson’s part. The buttons on the remote and the device do not light up for ease of use in the dark. Other projectors we’ve had in the past all had this. I took it for granted that it was a standard feature of all projectors. I do miss this. However, other than the Bluetooth and the remote, I am thoroughly pleased with this projector. It will see a lot of family fire pits and parties in the back yard. We’ve already made a lot of memories with our children with outdoor movie nights. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Quiet operation, great picture, ease of Putting up and brightness

I like the quality of the picture but the sound is bad and I wish it had more features
