Customers are saying

Customers commend the Home Cinema 880 projector for its excellent picture quality, brightness, and ease of setup. Many found the projector easy to use and affordable, while some noted that the fan can be noisy and that it only has one HDMI input. A few users also mentioned challenges with the zoom and focus features. Overall, the positive feedback on image quality and ease of use outweighs the negative comments regarding the limitations of the HDMI ports and some minor setup adjustments.

I have purchased a few projectors for my outdoor cinema set up and most were cheap and had shabby picture displays. This projector is the top of the ranks when it comes to projectors and is easy to set up and has easy instructions. I was surprised it did not include a case or more cords to attach external speakers and I was a bit shocked something this modern did not have built in blue tooth or WiFi, even though it can mirror a phone, that was a big piece missing. It also only has one HDMI and audio port and is quite large. Most projectors I have used were smaller foot prints than this one. Also unless you have an external speaker, the sound on this is not great. This is a top notch projector however for the price, I would of expected a bit more.

The picture is clear but this projector only has one hdmi input. Bluetooth option makes it easy to connect to speaker system.

    Attention: NO MANUAL ZOOM

This projector has NO manual zoom. Just the digital one, which also changes the resolution of the picture, which means you won't have 1920x1080 anymore. I mean it is not rocket science to understand this. So why on earth did Epson this to us? Why did they take away the manual zoom on a $600 projector? The projector is bright, no doubt. Sharp, yes, if you run the picture on 1:1 zoom, and keep your hands off the e-zoom function. Otherwise, you clearly see the artifacts and that it is unsharp. So, I returned this one.

Easy to use, but pay attention to your source, the clarity of the image being projected into the screen depends on the device you use as source.
