Surprisingly bright and very clear (even in fairly bright rooms). I really like the sliding door to put it into standby mode and that it comes back on very quickly when the door is opened (they call this A/V Mute. The auto vertical keystone works great, and the slider right behind the lens for horizontal keystone works well too and allows the projector to be off to the side if necessary. I was confused but happy about it not having any cool down time after it is turned off like my old Sharp projector (Epson says it is not necessary with their "Instant Off" technology). This one also has a shorter throw than my old Sharp projector and allows the projector to be closer to the screen if necessary and still be a large image. This 880 version has no optical zoom, but the digital zoom works fine. The slightly nicer 1080 version has a manual optical zoom right behind the focus dial. It also has a second hdmi input and some other video inputs (including vga) which I didn't need at a hundred dollars more. I feel like this Home Cinema 880 projector is a bargain at $600 and perfect for our needs. I've had 4 other projectors (Sony, Sharp, Epson, and Anker) over the years for office and movie use, and I highly recommend this one for simplicity, price, and performance.

A great and bright projector. It took a little bit to figure out how to Get it to fit my screen but I figured it out. All You got to do is to use the digital zoom button to zoom in or out and use the directional pad to adjust the size to fit the screen. Yes the fan is a little loud if you use the setting bright cinema mode but if you use the regular cinema mode the fan is a little bit quiet. It is as bright as a movie theater and you can hook it up to a surround system like a sound bar with a 5.1 surround system it has a 3.5 mm headphone Jack. And the lens cover doubles as a video mute switch so you can close the cover and still have the projector on then slide the cover back open and the video feed comes back on. The projector has only one HDMI output so if you want to add another item to it then you will have to purchase a HDMI SPLITTER. The only thing it needs to be added to remote control is a mute button it has a volume up or down but not a mute but not problem. It has a front and rear remote control sensor so can operate it from the rear of the projector like if you do a outdoor movie night. And the projector can be mounted using a ceiling projector mount. It also has a feature that allows you to make the projector to adjust to allow it to be used upside down. And this projector can also be used as a rear projector for a rear projector screen.It packs a punch for the price

Decent product with good brightness and shart images.

Love the picture quality, if you have a small room the sound is good. for a theater experience you will need a better sound system. I have been shopping around for various projectors, but if you are looking at the right one right price, look at the specs of this projector, they are best and this is priced right. you will not regret buying this. Overall I would give this 5 star rating for the price the projector.

Excellent bang for your buck! This projector is very bright and has a relatively short throw. Perfect for small rooms where you really wouldn't be able to tell the difference between 1080p and 4k. Our intention was to use this projector in a guest bedroom for movie night but we actually found it to be too bright to be used indoors in a small dark room so we use it outside instead.

This is a great projector for outdoor movie nights.. I use this almost every weekend for outdoor movie nights with my family. Brightness is good, it’s portable enough, and I’m able to plug my roku stick into it through the HDMI port on the back. I connect my JBL speaker through the AUX port on the back as well.
