Ls800 was perfect for media room at home and has a great 4k quality

I've had this projector for about a month and am impressed with both the quality of the picture and the projector. First off, the projector provides a crisp and clear image that is both large and bright. You can use the projector in a bright room and don't have to worry about it being too dim. One of the things I really love about this projector is the ability to project a very large screen. I purchased a 123 inch ALR Ultra Short Throw screen and mounted it on the wall, but before the screen arrived I was watching the projector on the bare wall and it was still pretty cool and easy to see. Using it with the screen makes the picture even more amazing and keeps the projector light from reflecting into the room so the light stays on the screen and the reflection is aimed directly at the viewers in front of the screen. I also really like the clean look of this setup - there are no cords coming out of the wall to the screen. The projector is easy to setup and the picture can be adjusted using the remote to fit precisely on the screen. Because the projector is heavy it doesn't get bumped or moved very easily so the picture remains in place. Another nice thing about this ultra short projector is that you can walk around in the room without interrupting the picture. And finally, I really like the sound quality of the 2.1 channel speaker. It seems more robust than a TV speaker but not as high quality as a dedicated soundbar. It has plenty of volume and decent bass. In addition, the projector operates quietly and doesn't have a loud fan like other projectors I've used. There is a lot to like about this projector. There are also a few nuances that I should point out with this projector. The first is that you cannot download the Netflix app on the projector. I'm not sure why but I think it has something to do with Netflix not allowing use on a projector. The workaround for me was to use the HDMI input for an alternative source of apps. It works just as well but I do need two remotes to operate now. Also, if you use an open security WIFI network you will need to create a secure network before the projector will connect. Also, I was unable to get my iOS phone to connect with Chromecast so my guess is that Chromecast is only available to Android phones. One other nuance that I noticed was the ability to achieve precise focus. There is a rather large lever that is used to focus, but it is hard to tell exactly where to set it. With that said, the picture is still very focused and pretty awesome so not really an issue but an observation. Overall, this projector has a great quality picture and performs well. I am really enjoying the experience of watching the big screen right in my living room and would recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their home theater.

I set it up before receiving the screen, and ended up watching a movie on the wall. When the screen (115") was installed and projector was calibrated, I was blown away by the detail, color, and the contrast ratio. Deep blacks were truly black. Love it!

This thing is larger than anticipated but looks classy. Finishing looks good.

This is an amazing projector except is daylight and bright rooms.

I heard and read good customer reviews on this product but my experience is completely opposite. Picture is not bright enough even if in a dark room during the day or night. I am noticing wrinkles here & there especially when there is a light blue or grey color on the screen e.g. sky. I am not loosing my hope yet. Called Best Buy Magnolia to take a look and reinstall the screen again. Installation was easy but fixing the focus on the 120" screen took quite long time. App are ok but I can't complain as I am using Apple TV plugged into the projector. Operations are are easy, I was able to connect internet and add to Google Home for voice control. Note: This site is not allowing me to upload the pictures.

Bought this unit 2 years ago is a $4,000 projector and I have hardware failures. Now that it's out of warranty, I would not recommend this to anybody. Save your money! Epson warranties are terrible. All the repair places that are certified are super far away and nobody pays for shipping. It's unbelievable for the price they charge for these things.

This projector can be considered as a TV replqcement, its bright enough to watch during daytime and has vivid and vibrant colors. Easy recommendation for someone who is looking for an ultra short throw projector. The only thing missing is 3D functionality.
