I bought this projector at the end of July. I was torn between getting this, the Sony 45es or buying the ne Epson 5040UB. After heavy thought i ended up with the 5030. It is a great projector which has a huge range for placement. I also coyldnt justify to myself wasting an extra $1000 for the 5040ub. That saved money went into my system and I bought me my dual SVS PB2000. The image on this projector is great. If your an extreme gamer look into another projector with better lag rating.

I have only had the projector for two weeks, but it is as nice as my research led me to believe. The picture is equal to my 67" Samsung LED. I'm using a $100 80" screen, with some ambient light in the room. Even in the ECO mode, the picture looks very nice. The only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars, is the black levels aren't as black as my Samsung. My screen is white, not grey or black, so that may be the cause, along with the ambient light. In the future, I may go with a higher-end screen, designed for a brighter room. Also, after I've had more time in with the projector, I would definitely add one more star.

This projector is crystal clear. What an awesome picture!

I like the different settings to make the picture brighter or dimmer, depending on what you are using the projector for (movies, sports, tv shows). Automatic lens closer after shut down which protects the lens.

Beautiful picture, good black levels, I have Epson 3030e projector, which is excellent too, wanted to upgrade, Not too much difference in image quality, , but this one is a notch up.

This projector has a fantastic picture. Great for movies & sports. I installed it in my home theater and have it set to about 120", but it could go much larger.

A lot of research went into buying this projector. I have had it for a year and a half now and can say that I enjoy it as much now as when I first bought it. The resolution is great and the adjustments to screen size and throw is remarkably simple.

Great projector for the size media room we had it installed in. Great price and great quality. USB included to recharge 3D glasses.

I did months of research and this is definitely the best 1080p for the money. I am not gonna mess with the 4k shift stuff.... I will just wait for the 4k projectors to come down in price in a few years.

This is a fantastic projector and really flexible as far as placement. However, Epson's released a new model that has 4k shift and is roughly the same price.

Works perfect on a 110" screen. Looks good mounted in the movie theater. Runs very quite.

I use this Epson to replace a older but a Cron projector the new technology and brightness are fantastic very impressed with everything including 3-D

First time to have a projector. We are enjoying watching television and movies in our new theater room! Our son thinks it's his new bedroom!

The projector along with Definitive speakers AC600 and Denon 3100 receiver has good best audio and video

Upgraded from an older projector to this one. Did alot of research and debated about spending a few extra dollars. But, boy was it worth it !!! The picture is clear and crisp. The 3D is awesome and it has the ability to make anything 2D into 3D. It's has brilliant colors and dark blacks.

Even before being calibrated the picture quality is excellent. Quiet.
