I went from box to presentation ready in about 10 minutes. Easy to set-up and plenty of inputs. The multiple display option is so efficient. I connected my phone and laptop and was easily able to display both while saving the typical time it takes to switch between inputs. The clarity lives up to the hype. Whether dusk or broad daylight, on a screen, ceiling or wall, I had a clear, concise, vibrant picture with sharp easy to read text. I currently use this unit to go over paper work with potential buyers. While overviews are great, there are moments where sections of text need to be magnified. And even then, clarity does not disappoint. The brightness of this model makes all the difference. The speaker onboard has a little kick to it. Easily able to fill a conference room and be heard by all. Impressive for a in-model speaker. I would have also preferred an option for audio out for larger scenarios, but being that I can just use the audio out of my input source, it’s not a major issue. The build is solid and light enough to lug around with ease. They included bag is a great touch. Protects the projector while allow just enough space for accessories and documentation. If you were wondering about the Miracast, I’m using a Samsung Note 20 Ultra 5G. I downloaded the recommended display app, scanned the QR code that was projected for connecting, and I was instantly displaying my cell with little to no lag. The projector also projects it’s own Wifi address for further connection options. Easy to connect. Plenty of connections. Clean and vibrant display. Good speaker. Not much more you could ask for in a presentation companion.

I purchased this projector 3 years ago and i could be more happy with this descision, i was in the market for a projector because i felt it would better that purchasing a larger screen Tv so after researching cheaper and more expensive models i settled on this one i felt it was the perfect balancebetwen quality and price … and i was right i watch a lot of nba and nfl and the games look so crisps and clear and with the addition of the sound bar makes for the perfect movie room you cant go wrong with this projector

This projector turned out to be much better than I expected. After setting everything, which was very easy by the way, I streamed a movie from a fire stick. Image Quality was very crisp. It felt like a movie theater quality. The only thing that was missed ng was a surround sound. Projector’s speaker is not strong enough to provide sound further away from the projecto. I was able to overcome this by using an audio extractor. After connecting audio extractor to the surround system, it truly felt like I was in a movie theater. I strongly recommend this projector. This is my 2nd Epson projector. I think they have definitely improved the experience since my last projector. The unboxing and setup was straightforward and simple. This projector definitely was much more impressive with the brightness it projected, It even worked in a well lit room! I use this mostly for my business to project for my employees and it works just as advertised. My kids also hook into it to watch their movies, so it is kid tested and improved :) This is a review for the Epson EX9240 projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Actually the projector is quite good. Great picture quality. However, ours died in 2 uses. Just a couple of weeks. I tried to return to store and they refused to accept it. Had to go through Epson. The only reason to shop at Best Buy is to get some level of service. Epson to their credit sent one next day. You get better service from Amazon or Epson direct. Don’t waste your time shopping at Bestbuy.

Great unit with a nice bright and crisp picture. Works great for the application we needed it for. Epson make good stuff these days.

Exactly as advertised. Met all expectations and needs. Great product. If presenting to a smaller room the built-in speaker is more than adequate. Super bright display, so it is better for presenting in a brighter environment.

First want to say that I am absolutely thrilled with my new projector. It’s compact, quiet and was incredibly easy to set up. I’ve primarily used it as a business related projector. I’m working remote, and take a ton of meetings via zoom and Google meet. Setting up the projector has changed the entire WFH environment for me — untethered me from my tiny laptop screen. I typically shut my blinds for a brighter screen display… but it’s actually surprisingly crisp even if I don’t. Haven’t had the unit for too long, but am super happy with my experience so far. I loved this projector, 4000 lumens is great when using it in a room with ambient lighting.

This projector is the real deal. Easy to use and produces a great picture. Highly recommend!

Bought this as a mid range first projector. Hoping epson and 1080 with miracast would be a good combo. Biggest fail was that miracast decoder is junk for casting video (tldr; creates a stack of pics) I got a Chromecast to give me a smart tv like option for when I'm too lazy to attach device via hdmi i can still cast streaming services over Chromecast. Still think the projector works good enough as a home cinema and can use in partial light and stilñ enjoy the scene as long as its not super darkly lit content. Looking back i probably would have paid a few hundred more for 4k and better contrast and blacks but at least i can test it out a few years and not be too worried taking it on the road (as with a 1500$ or more model

Just terrible erroneous advice from electronics dept. Bought an Espon EX9240 and a sound bar for blue tooth. Guy said simple hook-up. Not possible. The EX9249 doesn't have blue tooth. Went to store to get the wire. They said this will work but didn't have 25 ft length. Went somewhere else and got it. Didn't work. Bought somehting on Amazon. Didn't work. Wasted hours. The staff is poorly trained and just don't care. Now I stuck with the projector because I threw away the box because I tried to blue tooth it a couple days later. Just a horrible experience dealing with incompetent people who just don't care.

The last Epson I bout I paid the same amount and it had an audio out . Bought this one for 900 and no audio out ….. why would you make a projector without and audio out option .

Wireless operation does not work properly. When attempting to project a movie, AUDIO and VIDEO are badly out of sync., Epson support has no solution for this problem.
