Stopped working

One day the scan button just stopped working. Uninstalled and reinstalled software. Tried USB and wifi. Nothing. It does the initial paper grab when inserting a receipt and that's all. No support available except advice to do the above. No way to receive warranty support.

Look for other options...

Then the scans started to show lines through the image. Epson support recommended that I purchase a cleaning system (about $25.00), which I did. After I went through the cleaning process, the scanner produced no images. Epson support then said the product was out of warranty. Never again!

Color receipt scanner

When i returned the otem the customer service clerk said that a lot of the said item is returned for the exact same reason. When i asked the clerk as to why they couldnt give me a reason as to why.

Terrible and non-existent WiFi

Even though the WiFi switch was on, it would intermittently advertise it's SSID. Very poor designed product and being returned tomorrow for a refund. I'll be buying a Fujitsu instead. BTW, a 43 year IT Professional and can setup WiFi in my sleep.

Life and time Savior
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, i was surprised with what this small Epson RR-70W Wireless Mobile Receipt Scanner can do. It’s lightweight, but scans my receipts so quickly and efficiently, with good dpi, that scans all the info/data on the receipt, scans documents, even ID cards. The Epson RR-70W Wireless Mobile Receipt Scanner is so useful especially for travelers, like me, who need to scan on the go. I used to use my phone to scan documents, and this scanner has been a savior, less hassle and less time to scan documents and receipts! And so far I haven’t had a single paper get jammed. I just wish it came with a protective sleeve/storage case, so it’s extra protected inside my laptop bag. For a scanner built to be portable, i’D think the company would have considered to include a protection to it, especially that it is not a cheap scanner. I’d get really sad if it broke on the go. Setting up the scanner was pretty easy and straight forward. And connecting it to my computer was a breeze. It functions on battery, and if it needs a recharge, it just a plug away from your pc. And it is totally wireless!! No need to plug anything to scan documents! Battery life is impressive, I’ve scanned over two dozens of documents without recharge. It even comes with a user-friendly software that you download, that allows multiple scan and save Settings. You have the options save Scans in PDF and JPEG formats. Overall, I am super impressed with the Epson RR-70W Wireless Mobile Receipt Scanner! This is a review for the Epson RR-70W Wireless Mobile Receipt Scanner that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review
