Glad I chose this to pair with my new Epson LS800! Quality of screen is wellmade and package is good. Challenge in placement and would certainly suggest using professionals. Even with bestbuy geek squad, first try was too high, 2nd try was too low and they have to return to fix a difference of 1.5inch to avoid seeing the black banner.

This is a nice screen and deflects light well. It’s paired with an LS800 and I got the combo deal. No way this is worth $3k, but combo with the projector it’s worth $1.5k. Knocked a star off of for some wrinkles that took some handiwork to get out. They should find some better material to roll the screen up in - softer would make less indentations.

I normally do not do reviews but this screen is such a drastic improvement from a normal white screen that I wanted to share it with anyone who is debating its effectiveness. Im using the ls800 projector. The projector worker great during the day already, but there were certain times of day where it was bright and a little hard to see. Now we are good at all times.

Very good for use in above-ground basements during the day. The lighting may be very very slightly faded when there is lighting vs being pitch black but it in no way affects viewing, hence the 'good' rating. Another reason for the good rating is just the nature of the product because there cannot be movement and is hard to protect but one who is buying this should due their own due diligence and know this. Would recommend it to friends and colleagues!

Quality is good but screen has wrinkles on the corners. Geek squad replaced with new screen and it still has the same problem. They say you can order another or try different brand. Not sure what to do at this point of time. For the price of 3K this is not worth.

I spent a lot of time researching screens and I think this is the best quality for the price. Yes, these screens can get even more expensive. If you're like me, you don't have a completely dark room for your projector so this Epson SilverFlex Ultra Ambient Light Rejecting Screen is the solution.
Pros:
1) Size: If you've never seen a 120" screen, you should before deciding it's not for you. All you need is the space. It's hard to watch a smaller screen now. Pictures of this screen don't do it justice without anything to show you the scale.
2) Price: I waited until this went back on sale but it seems like it only gets cheaper as a combo with the Epson LS800.
3) Appearance: Maybe it's just preference, but I like the dark grey look versus a big ugly blank white screen with black border. It gives the look of a real TV. The color changes if you look at it from different angles and with lighting.
4) Product Quality: Amazing. Compared to the cheap $300 insignia, this is night and day. You definitely get what you pay for here.
5) Set Up: It's pretty easy compared to cheaper models. The kit comes with a huge plastic sheet to lay everything on. The screen comes rolled up in a tube with a white backing for protection. The frame goes together easily. The springs to pull the screen onto the frame go on easily, just follow the directions putting the corners on first, then start from the middle of the long sections working your way in to out.
6) Image Quality: It's hard to say for sure because I have not tested my Epson projector with the old screen, but I will say it HAS to make a difference. Maybe I will update if I decide to put the time into testing it.
Cons:
1) Box Size: Guys, no where on here do I ever see the dimensions of the box it comes in. You cannot assume that everything comes in huge boxes because my first screen's 100" screen box was about 2' by 4'. This box is HUGE. I went to pick it up and I'm glad I brought my mini van. I'd estimate it to be around 9' or 108" long, a little longer than the longest frame pieces which are 105.39". The width is about 18". Save yourself some time and come prepared if it's not being delivered. I don't know why I just assumed it wasn't that big, but now you know!
2) Installation: specifically hanging the screen on the wall. They DO NOT provide any screws or anchors to hang the screen on your wall. It makes sense because everyone's walls differ. If you don't know anything about drilling into drywall, wood or brick, I suggest you ask your local hardware store for tips. There are some brackets included so you can bring those with you. At first it was pretty frustrating having to stop and make a trip to the hardware store, but it makes sense. At least now you know in advance.
3) Installation Instructions: I've installed quite a few things in my life so I didn't really have a problem. However, if you do not have a lot of experience, I suggest you pay close attention to the directions. Also, ask someone to help you. They do not tell you to leave extra clearance for hanging the screen. If you try to make the screen fit snug to the top of your wall, you will not have enough space to hang the screen. The lip of the brackets is approximately 3/4". You have to clear at least that much space or you'll have to drill more holes.
4) Installation instructions: It does not indicate where to hang the screen on the hinges. If you hang it on a weak part of the screen, you will probably damage it over time. I suggest you use "common sense" and make sure the brackets go in between the 2 strong metal parts of the frame. Maybe it seems like, "duh" but you never know...
5) Space: When you install a screen this size, you need an open space at least the size of the screen. Once again, you would think people would be aware of that, but in case you didn't, be prepared. The more space you have the better so you don't step on things that aren't meant to be stepped on.
6) Tools: You'll need at least a screwdriver (phillips) and a drill would make putting the anchor in the wall a lot easier. A ladder wouldn't hurt so you don't kill yourself with a step stool.
Similar to my review of the Epson projector, I have more info on the CONS, but that is really just to help you know what to expect. I don't really have any major complaints.
If you buy an expensive computer, would you go cheap on a monitor? I didn't think so. So don't spend so much money on an ultra short throw projector use a junk screen. Sometimes, what you get what you pay for and this is one of those times. I haven't played video games on it yet, but I'd imagine MarioKart will be unreal with the screen being split into 4 huge sections. I hope this was helpful

This screen looks as good as any OLED TV I’ve seen. The colors are vibrant and the blacks are darker than I expected! The light rejection this screen has is amazing. Hardly no difference with some lights on. It mates perfectly with the Epson LS800 UST projector. Highly recommend.

I purchased this to compliment the Epson LS800.
The screen pairs well with the projector. Image quality is excellent. Works well in a bright room with natural ambient light.
Requires professional installation and a large surface (the only cons).

I originally bought the AWOL screen which I had to return since it was missing the required holes for the springs on one side! I'm happy that happened cause I ended up ordering this Epson instead! You can tell the quality is much better right away. With that said, my picture quality also improved dramatically. I had mistakenly originally purchased a plain white screen for my UST! Best Buy premium installers installed it perfectly! Only issue is the bottom left does have a small wrinkle in the screen but I am being told that it will go away with time.

Excellent screen. Works well to deflect ambient light from above the screen. I had no issues assembling the screen myself. Only needed help to lift it onto the wall. Even though this is a great screen I would not pay full price for it. There is no way this costs anywhere near $3,000 to manufacture. The discount deal you get when buying with the projector is a much better bargain but still quite pricey for a screen. The screen looks very nice and flat, absolutely no wrinkles. I wonder if the people experiencing wrinkles assembled it correctly. You must attach the springs starting on the corners and working your way evenly in on each side. Get it for half off but look elseware if thinking of paying full price. Amazon is selling a 150" ALR screen for a third of the price of this that I would have liked to compare to this.

Picture quality is good. I have some issues with the project (LS800) but can't point if this is a Projector issue or the screen issue. After the screen installation I have seen waves on the top 2 corners. Called BB Magnolia to fix it, still waiting for them to check & fix. Hopefully they will be able to fix the problem.

Picture is AWESOME with the Epson - EpiqVision™ Ultra LS800 4K PRO-UHD® Ultra Short-Throw 3-Chip 3LCD Smart Streaming Laser Projector - White.. problem is that no matter how many springs I use the screen is still wavy - need to call Epson to see if I need a tension frame instead of what came with it
