Our IT department stopped supporting the Fujitsu ScanSnap, so we were forced into this line--it underperforms in almost every category (Build quality, ease of use, product design, speed)--but for the price, it's still a product I'd recommend. In summary, if you need to stay in the $200-$300 price point, this is a decent value.

It is a high quality scanner and works as directed.

We use these in my office near desks to scan small documents (less than 10 pages). They work great and set up very easily with all docs being scanned as pdf's into your documents. I don't yet know about reliability but they are more than 200 less than the other version we use.

I've scanned about four banker's boxes of financial records without trouble. The paper handling is reliable (all jams have been caused by multi-part paper, folded forms, etc.). Easy selection of single or double-sided scanning.

Great for scanning large amounts of documents (bills, bank statements, etc.). Previously used all-in-one machines which jammed frequently. Duplex scanning is a big time saver.

I had to purchase this after purchasing a printer that I incorrectly assumed had scanning capabilities. Has met most needs in the pas 3 years, until I had to scan something larger than a standard 8.5 in width.

Regular paper can process quickly and easily. I scan envelopes that come with documents and it always jams. I cut off the back end and position it so the window part of the envelope is not in the center and it goes thru.

I was looking for something much more user friendly that would enable easy search for key words. This did scan very quickly but just wasn't what I was looking for.

We have a need to scan a few hundred docs a week for a medical practice.looked at much more expensive scanners...this one is fast (enough) easy to install and so far reliable. Highly reccomend.

Had to replace my Fujitsu Scan Snap. This was the best match, took a little bit to figure out the set up since I wanted it to be like the Fujitsu model. Once I got it figured out it works great.

It's been a few years since I bought this and this baby is still going strong. I use it daily and it has been a lifesaver. highly recommend.
